I was really pleased with my experience with Madison Deck Builders. They helped me craft a deck that would fit my limited space in my backyard that both gave me a comfy backyard that stands up to the weather and my dog’s toenails. They were responsive and helpful throughout the process even when we were forced to make some adjustments due to some obscure city standards.

Working with Larry through the planning process was great. Very responsive and gave good suggestions (without pushing anything). I hounded him with emails with questions and updates leading up to our build, and he always responded promptly. The crew that built our deck was great. They were very communicative, and would always let us know what was going on. They had a couple delays in some parts, and wouldn’t leave without notifying me that they would be back in X day to finish. All in all, the deck took 3 days to build over the course of one week, and we couldn’t be happier with it. I’m very happy that Larry recommended to make the deck 2ft bigger than originally planned 🙂

Amidst shortages of supplies, MDB did a great job on our deck. They were very open and responsive about costs and turnaround times, and the final product (much from their recommendations) ended up to be amazing, and just what we wanted. Thanks!

We LOVE our new back porch! Larry and his team did a fantastic job, the workers were very professional, helpful and friendly and were very patient with our quirky puppy. I feel like this is the deck we were always supposed to have!

I highly recommend this company. A year ago, we decided to replace our three backyard decks, which are located on a steep slope. We contracted with a company out of Milwaukee. After several months, we ended up with drawings of the design and a permit, but then the Milwaukee contractor gave us our money back and said the project was too complicated for them to be able to complete. So, we met on-site with three different companies to review our project. Madison Deck Builders were somewhat more expensive than the other two quotes, but they were the most professional and had the best ideas on how to build out our project. They listened to our requests and found ways to improve upon the original design. Thank goodness the Milwaukee company withdrew from the project, because the end result from Madison Deck Builders is significantly better. From the initial contact through project completion, Madison Deck Builders communicated a reasonable time schedule and delivered a finished product within the timeframe established. They would have built the decks exactly as we asked, but along the way they made suggestions on how to improve the design and building materials to end up with an even better product. Our new decks are beautiful, modern and better than we imagined possible. Are there lower cost companies that will build your deck? Sure. But, we are really glad we hired Madison Deck Builders.

We had a great experience with Larry and his team in replacing our old wooden deck with a new, composite one. Larry was very transparent about costs and kept in good communication with us throughout the whole process. We had a huge tree they needed to work around with roots, etc. and they made it happen! I really appreciated how they were respectful of my plantings and home as well. Thanks Larry and team!
