Paul Sokol is one of the best professionals to work on my deck. The crew of two hard working young men tore off the old deck and with the help of Paul and one other worker did an excellent job. They helped me choose the right color composite materials to fit so well with my home. I would highly recommend them to my neighbors and friends. The new Deck looks great. Thank you, Paul…Dean

Gave us a bid rite after we called. They were busy but squeezed us in. Did 2 small decks on 2 diff houses. They were on time great quality work. Charged just as quoted. We will be hiring them again. Highly recomend!

We could not be more pleased with our deck. It was an odd shape requiring much attention to detail. The final product is professional in its finish and really beautiful. Communication was easy and the guys always turned up when they said they would. They worked very hard to finish within a tight time frame. We would definitely use Sokol again for future projects. In 2017, Paul Sokol built a beautiful composite deck for me to my exact specifications. No request was denied. It was complicated with built-in benches, a granite firepit and built-in lights with a remote control. He was extremely professional and finished the project in a timely manner. I even came in under my budget. In 2018, he built a large custom table and four benches to match the deck and again, he exceeded my expectations. He is a master of his profession and I recommend him highly.

Paul provided exceptional service and value. From our first meeting through project completion, Paul was always professional, prompt, and followed through with work as promised. He took on a large re-decking project for us in Nov 2017. It included connecting two existing decks and adding a set of stairs with new railings and a gate. Paul provided a detailed estimate – not the cheapest – but worked through some engineering challenges and offered helpful design suggestions along the way that resulted in an even better outcome. Its been 6+ months since Paul completed his work and we asked him back recently to make an adjustment to the gate. He responded quickly, coming out on a Saturday to resolve the problem. I have confidently recommended Paul to co-workers and others, and will certainly contact him first should I need another deck or similar outdoor project.

We are so pleased with the work that Sokol Construction has done for us! Paul came highly recommended by another contractor for whom we have a great deal of respect, so once the bid for our job came in at about what we had budgeted, we got things rolling. The job was to have a patio cover put on our house, attached to and blended in with the house and the lower level roofline. The underside was to be natural wood, to be admired, where we would attach our own lighting, ceiling fan, etc. Additionally, we wanted to have a gazebo put in another area of our heavily wooded yard. Paul gave us a quote for a custom gazebo in addition to the possibility of a kit that he would create foundation for and install; great quality for quite a bit lower cost. We went with the kit. Well, the patio cover was completed in about a week’s time and boy, are we happy with it. It’s functional, beautiful, fully integrated with the house and looks as if it had always been part of our home. The materials are quality; the craftsmanship is superior, and Paul and team’s integrity and work ethic unmatched. The gazebo kit did not disappoint and Paul’s team installed it perfectly. In his vision of our plans, Paul also suggested some custom benches to go in the gazebo. Initially I was reluctant, thinking that we could get prebuilt benches at some garden type store, but we decided to go ahead. On the last day of a job with which we were already totally satisfied, Paul delivered the benches, and they are GORGEOUS. High quality wood and hardware and design lines that complimented the gazebo kit… Just perfect. We have at least one additional job already in our minds and will be calling Paul and Sokol Construction first.
