Great experience with the entire team. I won’t use any other company. Heidi initially designed my multi level deck years ago and It went beyond my expectations on how it came out. We also built a solid deck on my detach garage. I recently had to replace my above ground pool and had to demo part of my lower level deck and rebuild. The crew did an outstanding job and were always on time. I highly recommend River City Decks and Patio. Lee the owner and Heidi are easy to work with and in my opinion will work hard to make your project easy and affordable as possible.

I requested a proposal for a patio cover from Lee Lairmore, owner of River City Deck and patio. Throughout the site visit, proposal and contract process, Lee Lairmore was the crankiest and most unpleasant man I’ve ever dealt with. He couldn’t deliver an accurate contract and got irritated with me just for asking questions and negotiating. Big Red Flag! Stay away from this curmudgeon!!

We are really happy with our deck design and installation by River City Decks. We thought it might be nice to have a roof instead of a pergola to make the space more useful, so we contacted RiverCity Deck. Lee came over and gave us his thoughts on what he thought would be functional and look great. We went with all of his ideas and love the results. His crew of guys were really awesome. They were just so nice and so professional. We barely knew they were in the backyard (and we have 2 dogs that alert us to everything). It was so nice to have such a worry free home improvement job with such impressive results!! Thank you all so much for making this home improvement so easy and worry-free.

The expert who designs, the owner, and every crew member were fantastic and a joy to deal with. I get so many daily compliments on my porch and my patio. I had River City demo the existing deck in my backyard, build a new deck and install a deck cover. Everyone at River City that I interacted with was friendly, professional and helpful. The process started with a site visit at my home where the assessor viewed the existing deck and took measurements. Following that, we sat down and created a rough sketch of the plan and discussed cost. The final quote was given to me at that time with a formal contract sent to me over email a day or two later. Once I signed up to have the deck and cover built, I worked with River City to schedule the work. The deck crew showed up first, demoed the existing deck and began work on the new deck. Most of the work was done on the first day with some additional work completed the following day. The crew leader was pleasant to work with. He answered all my questions and we discussed my decision on a couple options that were available to me. The yard was cleaned up very nicely when they were done. It was about a week later that the deck cover crew showed up. The deck cover leader was very responsive and kept me updated on scheduling. This work also took all of one day and a little of the following day. The yard was nicely cleaned up afterwards. The final product is beautiful. I’m very happy with how everything turned out. It’s rained several times since the cover was installed and I haven’t noticed a single leak. River City kept great communication with me the whole time; they responded to all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns; they cleaned up after the construction; and I’m very happy with the final product. I would absolutely recommend River City for this type of work and if I ever needed another deck built, River City would be my first call.

Lee was great with my deck and patio door repairs. He listened to what the needs were of my family and instead of selling me a huge new deck reconstruction project, he celebrated the value of the existing carpentry. He made our comfy outdoor space more safe and updated the areas I was concerned about. I am thrilled with his work, kindness, great communication, and efficient project management/completion. I highly recommend him and his team!

Excellent company to work with. Lee is informative , listened to our wants and needs and excelled in showing us different options and pros/cons of each style. The scheduling process was easy. His crew called and kept us informed of the process . And what we got was a transformation of our backyard! I am very happy with the product and this company ! Will definitely use them again when the next project comes around !!

Don’t do concrete patios with river city!! I got my patio done in 2020 and debated even writing this but the after math still sucks and I’m stuck with a bad patio! Lee was in no way accommodating or took responsibility. He had the contractor who did the concrete write me a small check. Not even 10% of the over priced amount I paid. THE CHECK CAME FROM CONTRACTOR. so again river city took no blame for their fault as I paid them. Not the contractor. They poured the concrete without looking at the weather. The next day it froze. Causing the concrete to dust and the aggregate to be exposed. After that came even more problems. It was not leveled. I have puddles when it rains. They attempted to level it out but it was impossible. Now I have tons of crackes everywhere and still have puddles. Only 2 years later. I’m embarrassed to even say how much I paid for a bad job. And bad customer service. Only thing I liked is the sealing and paint job from alamo city coating. Again that’s not river city as everything is contracted out. If only Lee cared about his unsatisfied customers as much as he cares for respond to all the bad reviews. I assure you he never gave me that much time and effort every time I attempted to contact him.
