I can’t say enough good things about Colby Parks. Not only is his work outstanding, but he is the consummate professional. He’s honest and responsive to all questions. After seeing Colby’s excellent work on my neighbor’s porch/deck, I was thrilled to be able to work with him on our own project to demolish an existing deck and replace it with a composite deck (involving a roof build and installation of retractable screening). From our initial conversations all the way to job completion, Colby always demonstrated a VERY STRONG attention to detail and it was abundantly clear that he had tremendous skills and experience. I had a board vision in my mind but Colby was able to take that and run with it – and the outcome was (in my view) literally a perfect product. Colby is always mindful of ensuring that the customer has complete satisfaction in the outcome of a project. He is great about communicating any issues / risks, but more importantly is able to steer customers in making decisions based on his skills / experience. Colby also has a very strong team of professionals (roofing, gutters, electrical) who execute according to the very high quality standards he has. Colby and his team are the ultimate professionals. My project involved a complex roofing structure and enclosure of a large deck area along with extending my existing patio. They communicated regularly throughout the entire process ensuring that you are aware of next steps and timing which was a refreshing change from working with other contractors. The craftsmanship is at the highest level and attention to detail is comparable to none. It’s great when a vision becomes reality and even better when the reality surpasses the vision. The Colby team made that happen and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the end product.

When you’re looking for a professional contractor to work on what is likely one of your most prized possessions (other than Family members of course) you should look for a few things, namely: 1) Integrity 2) Quality 3) Final Result Trust me, you don’t want to get into a project and figure out you’re working with someone you can’t trust. Colby gives it to you straight. It’s the only way I do business. We interviewed everybody (archideck, fun outdoor living, a few other referrals). Colby will work within your budget, not try and upsell you on stuff you don’t need, but will find solutions to get you where you want to be in the end. The next thing is quality. I have worked in construction in the past and Colby is a master carpenter. So you’re going to get custom work. He’s going to do whatever it takes to over-deliver your expectation. If you can get Colby on your schedule, I highly recommend you do it. It’s worth the wait.
