The Deck Company is one of the very best. Trust me, you get what you pay for in this arena. Michael and team are worth every penny. Long story, we contracted with a local company called Outdoor Creations. We asked them to replace deck boards with a composite. They did a terrible job and were terrible communicators. Ultimately the business owner would not stand by his work. I am happy to show you pictures. It’s embarrassing. Boards weren’t cut correctly, picture frame with the composite was not done and the covering that goes over the band joist was not installed correctly. So much so water rotted out one side of the deck. As we saw the problems, we asked the business owner to standby his work and get them fixed. He repeatedly blamed us for the issues with his craftsmanship, as you can imagine we just moved on due to the amount of follow-up and effort we were putting into it. It was a 10 month process. I am so thankful for Michael and his team for taking on a job that was really someone else’s problem. This is not the first time that Michael has had to fix issues from the aforementioned company. Michael insisted on doing the work himself and make sure that it was done correctly. Michael communicated consistently around any delays that we may see due to weather etc. What we ended up with was, an amazing well crafted and impressive deck. It’s what we wanted from the beginning. We could not be more pleased with this team. I have told Michael that I would be a reference anytime needed.

The Deck Company did not disappoint on this build! It was a big job, not only tearing out an old, rotting deck, but also pouring a much larger concrete pad and expanding the deck beyond it’s original size. I had a vision in my head and they made it happen. Thank you Michael and team for the solid craftsmanship; we absolutely love our new space!

Sorely disappointed by the lack of response from the Deck Company. I have called the office and spoke to them, left a message on their webpage. They built a beautiful deck for us about 9 years ago. When Michael came out to give us the estimate we discussed the way our builder did the deck. I did know that I should inspect the work they did. 2 weeks ago another contractor pointed out that they did not install any ledger flashing. We now have significant damage to our house and deck. No response from The Deck Company. Can’t say that we had the A team on our deck.

I stain in seal decks for a living. And I can honestly say the deck company makes some of the best decks i’ve ever seen. They don’t take shortcuts

The Deck Company has built three decks and poured a concrete pad and two sidewalks for my family and we couldn’t be more pleased. I continue to be impressed by the superior engineering, select-grade materials, and precise workmanship of all our Deck Company products. Their craftsmen are precision oriented, kept a tidy work area and were very respectful overall towards our property and helping us achieve excellent outcomes. We found them to be easy to with and appreciate that they stuck to the construction schedule and agreed upon work to the utmost degree. The Deck Company is a Full Recommend.

Worked for them for about 8months they were suppose to train me ..trained by 3 different supervisors never a consistent process and felt like they pointed me to blame but reall was poor training and lack of focus on training new hires

Edit to your response since I cannot just add a response; We NEVER received any type of compensation for our tree. We have the text messages to show we were refused any help with it even though we sent the report from the arborist. In regards to the issue with the bricks, we were told by Casey he would come back and fix anything if we ever ran into issues. His words, “my work is guaranteed for life” We did nothing to damage the patio but simply walk on it. That part is on us in thinking his word was good and valid and not have that in writing. Please contact my husband from our information you have on file via phone. We have now tried to called up there twice and all we get is voicemail. Thank you for your help in advance to get this issue resolved. I would like to say this was a good experience but sadly, in the long run it was not. First and foremost, while the deck company was at our property they backed into one of our infant trees with their truck. They were apologetic and told us if the tree died they would replace it. We noticed that tree was not looking great so we reached out to an arborist and they in fact told us the tree was dying. We reached back out to the deck company and they told us we should have reached out sooner and tough luck essentially. Super disappointing and why bother promising a replacement if you aren’t actually going to follow through with your word? When the work was done on our patio, we were told if we ever had issues to contact them no matter what and they would come out fix it. We had some bricks fall and sink though. We contacted them and were told they would not fix it. Super disappointing. The work was fine but if you use their services do not expect them to keep their word if you run into any issues down the road.
