Oscar and the team did a fantastic job with removing the old deck and building a new 14×14 deck, within roughly 4 weeks. Communication was excellent throughout the project phases, and was accommodating to our requests and comments. The team also did a great job in swiftly putting up a pergola (which we separately bought) on top of our new deck. Thanks to Oscar, we are now enjoying our outdoor space even more!

I had 6 estimates. Oscar Serrano’s estimate was easily the best. Not just on price – but on stability, workmanship and design (which was my #1 concern – as it should be for you). But with such a big investment I really wanted to be sure, so I spent a several weeks getting other estimates. It’s unusual for me to hire people because I have an 80 year old house that I bought as a fixer-upper and remodeled completely myself. But I did not feel comfortable building a second story deck as a DYI project, so I am so glad I found Serrano Master Deck. Everything with Serrano went easily beginning on day 1 when Oscar returned my initial phone call immediately. He came out that day and sent me an estimate that night. Then I went down a long road with other deck builders who paled in comparison. Oscar always responded quickly to my questions but was never pushy. He kept in touch with me about the permitting process, which went really quickly. Oscar’s building plans and design were unparalleled. (I got designs from other people as well – but nothing as thorough as Oscar’s). Oscar’s crew is a group of real artisans. I really enjoyed meeting them all. They are incredibly hard working, polite, friendly. They built a wonderful deck for us in just a few days and it the best investment in our house that we have ever done. If you go with Serrano Master Deck you won’t have any regrets.

I had a good experience thus far with Serrano Master Deck. The business owner, Oscar, and his team obtained the required permit and built our deck as promised. The deck passed inspection and looked good and sturdy. The things we asked them to fix, they fixed. There is a minor painting task not done due to inclement weather (snow and cold and windy weather) but he got me the paint and promised to come back when the weather conditions are optimal for painting. When he collected the last payment, he reminded me that if we need any repairs or there are any problems during the warranty period to call him and he will take care of it. Recommended.

Got my deck done in 2022. Owner Oscar was nice to talk to at first. I made specific requests. But each time different crew show up, have no clue. Not much supervision. There are some good crew but some have very poor workmanship and manners. Really pissed me off when he requested to make payment without even final walk through, and unfinished work. Maybe I was an unlucky customer. But Cant recommend the company.

Eric Jandres, employee of Oscar, built our beautiful deck. Eric is very skilled and highly professional young man. You can fully trust his work. It is amazing that they built the deck just in 5 days. They used high quality material to our fullest satisfaction. I strongly recommend them for deck work.
