I called Estate Deck and Fence for a quote on two projects, a fence and deck-rebuild, worth $118k. After leaving a message & asking for a return call, I didn’t receive any calls until a week and a half later. Due to their poor response, I chose another builder, who answers calls right away, and came out the next day, even on Saturday. I can say it’s poor business practice to lose jobs worth nearly $120k, when they don’t return calls.

I would not recommend this company. I originally reached out to them for an estimate for a new covered deck and demolishing the old one. At first they were very responsive and told us it would be 2-3 weeks to get the proposal. 3 weeks go buy and I reach out to the estimator. He said he was hoping to have it within a couple of days. Another week goes by I reach out again. This time someone else replied and stated the original estimator no longer worked there and the the person that responded said he would look into it. Another 4 weeks go by and finally receive another communication that my proposal was ready for review. I would rather pay a little more for good customer service than poor customer service. At that point I had already chosen another contractor for the job.

Got a quote! They actually came out and did a quote instead of ghosting me! Very friendly and personable. Price ended up outside of our budget so we didn’t proceed, but it seems to be in line with competitors.

We had Estate build two decks five years ago – one wood and one composite. We are very happy with both. When we called to have a rotted board replaced this year, they very generously replaced it at “no charge”.

From the sales person to the finished product I have nothing but great things to say about this company. The crew was so efficient with there work and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day not leaving materials laying all over my yard. My composite deck is so beautiful and I am so happy.
