Important qualities of any service-based business: – Responsiveness – Professionalism – Reliability – Talent/Skill – Honesty Fort Decks has them all. First off, they return phone calls, which is more than could be said for many so-called service/contracting businesses in the area. In my particular situation, I needed a small deck, (8’x10′), rebuilt near my entryway with long-lasting, high quality, durable material. The owner arrived (on time!) to give an estimate and was able to answer all questions and concerns clearly and honestly. He was also prepared with a few standard color and material samples. I needed time to decide on the details and he even came back a second time upon request to let my wife and I look over materials again. The build date was set once materials arrived, and true to his word, the deck was built quickly and efficiently – and it looks beautiful! The work site remained clean and orderly, (very important!), and before long, the job was over and my deck was completed – at a reasonable price and to professional standards! I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a quality build. As a business owner myself, I cannot stress enough how important it is to follow through on your word and provide the customer with a friendly and reliable experience. Even though this was a relatively small job, the company treated me as though they valued my needs and my time. (Everyone else I contacted previously was a frustrating waste of my time). Fort Decks delivered!

Fort Decks & Outdoor built a beautiful TimberTech accent wall for our new pavilion / patio. Excellent work and competitive pricing. Highest recommendation. UPDATE: This is the wall with the cabinets installed. The wall is the first thing everyone sees. Outstanding!

Fort Decks is a family run business that does things right! We were very pleased with the results and the entire process from sales to the installation and follow up. They have many years of experience in deck building and it shows. They were professional, neat, polite and very easy to deal with. They are also very competitively priced! We were quoted a substantially higher price by another company, so I would highly recommend you call Fort Decks for a quote before you proceed with your deck. Our deck has created a cherished outdoor living space and we have already spent some memorable nights out there under the moon and stars. I can’t wait to landscape and light to for our little slice of zen.

We just had our old wooden deck replaced by Tauan and crew. Tauan did a great job listening to what we had in mind and giving us a finished product that matched our vision. He and his crew were personable and conscientious. He communicated well about the various aspects of the job and any issues that arose. We are very happy with his work and have had many compliments on how the deck looks now.

BEWARE!!! Tauan will take your $ and run, nothing but a liar and con. look at the reviews on Yelp and you will see. File complaints with DBPR if you’ve been taken.

Deck has been done for a year and there are dozens of boards curling up where screws were not installed. Emails, phone calls, voicemails and texts have all been ignored.
