Richard, Bruce, Cameron, Miles, and Jayden (hope I’m spelling everyone’s name correctly) were all great to work with! We had several boards, railings, and spindles that needed replacing. In addition, we had a lot of organic growth that needed to be cleaned as well. They did a great job repairing, cleaning, and re-staining our deck for us. They brought it back to life! I don’t have recent pictures of the “before” phase but I have included some when the carpentry work was in-process, which was before they cleaned and stained everything, so it will give you a good idea of the “before.” I’ve also included “after” pictures. Highly recommend this company! (The color is Sherwin Williams French Roast.)

I had an appointment with them to review my deck and got a call last min that they couldn’t come something came up. I was told they would call Saturday and let me know what time they could come. I never heard from them again.

Richard at Deck Medic sent Bruce to install white composite handrails to the steps on our front porch. The job came out better than I could have imagined. The handrails are not only sturdy and safe but also add greatly to the curb appeal of our home. Bruce is truly a craftsman and took the time with us to insure the job was done the way we wanted. Great customer service and great workmanship!

Incredible transformation!! Our deck, stairs and patio table platform was a mess before Deck Medic revived the whole feel of our backyard. We initially hired landscapers to help us with Cabot “permanent” stain we purchased at Lowe’s, and while the labor was inexpensive, it was poorly applied, spotty after direct sun exposure, and rubbed off in areas of high traction well before the first year. We received a quote from Richard months ago and because it is an investment, we were able to finally do a portion of the proposal and boy was it well worth it! When Deck Medic states they have 5-step approach, they’re not kidding. Each prep, clean, strip and sanding step was done with extreme care. That Cabot stuff is really hard to remove and Deck Medic stayed committed to the job until it was done to the best of their abilities, which was well worth the cost in labor to achieve such an amazing, elevated finished product. No shortcuts or surprising upcharges because “this was more work than expected in the proposal” as you sometimes hear from vendors trying to take advantage. Richard personally checked on our project several times and the crew sent photos after each day. Believe three days were needed because of some rain delays, but even that, it was so nice to be assured the stain would be properly applied to dry, clean, fully prepared wood. No rushing just to get the job done. The guys were so receptive to my feedback if an area needed more attention or the application adhered a little funny in one place or another, it was a quick, happy fix. I’m assured this high quality stain should last us 3 years+ out on the water with our intense elements, and any touch ups or re-stain would be at a much lower cost in the future since it would be maintenance work not restorative work. You can fully trust Richard and his Deck Medic team and product!!
