We wanted a deck rebuild and a three season room addition for our house. A good friend recommended DC Construction, so I began checking reviews online. Everything looked good, so I reached out to Derek. From initial contact, I was impressed with his responsiveness. It seemed like it was just a few days later and he was at our house discussing the project. I need to clarify, I am not a builder. I do not speak the language, nor am very good at communicating what exactly we wanted. Derek took my incomplete guidance and ran with it. Once the project started, it moved fast. He communicated with me daily and never once did we feel like we didn’t know what was going on. Derek’s crew were kind, professional, and courteous the entire time. The job sight was left picked up and organized every day. I’d say my favorite aspect was when we left the house to go to work, I knew my home was in good hands and I had zero concerns. The last thing I’ll share is the impressive finished product. Again, I know my guidance was minimal, but they built exactly what we wanted, and it was done well. We are beyond pleased with our deck and three season room. I would highly recommend Derek and his crew to anyone looking for home or businesses remodeling, additions, or new construction. You sincerely will not be disappointed. We sure weren’t.

Derek and his crew built a 24’x60′ pole barn for us in October 2023, the entire experience was above expectation. Derek was great to work with and is a true professional – reliable, organized, great communication. Derek coordinated materials and subcontractors to keep the project moving at a good pace from beginning to end. Everyone he brought into the project was pleasant and professional. We would gladly hire DC Construction for any other building project. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Derek was great. He re-sided our cottage, and it looks great. Derek paid attention to details. If an issue came up, Derek would assess the situation and come up with a solution. Derek was great to work with.

We’ve had a lot of work done by builders over the years. By far Derek of DC construction and remodeling exceeded our expectations. Being remote from the project we hired him to take on, required a lot of trust. He gave us a reasonable quote, he kept to his timeline, and he kept us informed every step of the way. We loved the end results, would not hesitate to hire him for future projects.
