While no contractor delivers perfectly on every desire of the owner Trucco often went above and beyond without prompting to make the projects stand out in quality and value. Trucco has assembled an excellent group of dedicated team members knowledgeable and e.xpert in their field.

I was looking to build a pole barn. I called to get more information and the individual who answered didn’t provide their name but took my address said I was outside of 30 mile radius, thus can’t do it. Called back again a minute later after looking at their website and spoke to a different lady and she said their radius is 40 miles but seemed unsure. Then went on to say 40-60 mile radius was an upcharge. Then she denied me despite being okay with the upcharge, saying I didn’t meet the criteria due to being 42 miles away despite meeting her criteria. Not to mention they built a pole barn in my city on their website and advertise it. Very disappointed getting multiple different stories and advertising something different than their website. Disappointed in their honesty and training of their employees. Sad as I was referred to this company by an individual who had a pole barn built by this company in my city.

We started a $450k pool project in Sept 2022. As of this posting (May 9, 2024) the project is still not complete. We honored the contract and made the final payment in June of 2023 (1 year ago). The entire experience has been incredibly challenging, compounded by very poor communication and many, many weeks of nobody showing up to work on the project (hence 2 years). At this point, I’ve given up on getting them to finish the project. I’m estimating about $75k in additional expenses I’ll incur with other contractors to make repairs and/or bring quality up to where it should be. We were charged $12,500 just for irrigation which is now having to be repaired due to major issues. The pergola was designed and built poorly with warped and quickly deteriorating cedar. We ripped out perfectly good hardy plank porch columns that were replaced with poorly built ones (warping, poor craftsmanship). Cracked porcelain tiles remain. Missing grout in areas. The auto-cover is getting a tear from where it hits the coping when closed which I brought to their attention almost a year ago. The pool isn’t level. Landscape choices caused problems and are being replaced at my expense. The decking on the upper porch is mis-matched. I could go on. The owners are great people and I believe they do care. However, they seem to have too much work and not enough systems and processes to manage it all. There is very little communication unless you are the focus of their attention which comes in spurts. I was reluctant to post a negative review because they are kind people but I feel justified given the issues and the fact that we are going on 2 years. I’ve given up on them and severing ties. My biggest regret is not noticing that they only have 8 reviews on Google and none in the last 3 years. This confirms two things for me: 1) They do care and are capable of doing a good job; and 2) The Covid demand surge was more than they could handle and the last few years have not gone well with regard to happy clients. They clearly took on too much work and it crumbled. I hope, for their sake (and maybe yours), they can right the ship and deliver a better experience for future clients. After all, I really do want to see them succeed. Proceed with caution.

Best lawn company I have ever used! Jonathan communicates so well. You always know when they are coming and they are very prompt. I cannot say enough about how great my lawn always looks. Jonathan and his team are incredibly nice super professional and consistently do an amazing job! I highly recommend them!
