When looking for a construction company to complete a small project (replacing my front entryway with composite boards), it was incredibly difficult to get a company to return my communication. Furthermore, many of them seemed to be unlicensed or uninsured. After HKF completed a project with one of my neighbors, they were on my list of places to reach out to and I’m SO glad I did. They were incredibly responsive, quick, reasonable with their pricing and thorough. When there was a change in scope (having to rebuild the stairs of our front entryway and the flooring we chose not being in stock), they were reasonable & accommodating in changing the scope and reducing the impact financially to us. I would keep them top of mind for any improvements needed in the future, and you should too.

My deck was redone beautifully, on time, on budget, at a reasonable rate, and built to last with proper construction above the minimum requirements. There was great communication and transparency in supplies costs. I already recommended HFK to two friends.

Had a project to rehab our Kitchen. New counters, backsplash, updated all lights to recessed lights in three rooms. Had all our woodwork painted and had new replacement windows. They worked extremely fast and meticulously. We were extremely happy with the end result and will definitely use them again for future projects.

We hired HKF Construction to gut and remodel our entire bathroom. Hayce, Christina and their crew went above and beyond anything we ever expected. Their eye for detail and professionalism are unmatched. Both continued to check at least 2-3 times weekly on the advancement of our project, offering insightful suggestions every step of the way. HKF’s total, overall commitment to customer service is unsurpassed and their work is nothing short of outstanding. We hired HKF to remodel our bathroom. We chose Hayce over other contractors because we could see how confident she was about handling a project in a very old house where anything could happen once you open the walls. We felt like Hayce really listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted. She communicated promptly from the first consultation to the final inspection. When any issue came up, she immediately discussed options with us so we could make the best decisions and keep our project timeline on track. She made sure the shower size, tiles, placement of the toilet and even the original door trim were done exactly to our liking. When she noticed a small area of dust hadn’t been cleaned up at the end of the project, she made sure her team came back to finish cleaning right away. No detail was left behind. She took even the smallest problem or delay very seriously and made everything right. Her team was always friendly and happy to keep us updated on their plans for the day. We couldn’t stay since it is our only bathroom but we felt extremely comfortable leaving them to work all day in our home. We love how it turn out, better than we imagined! We will reach out to Hayce again for our next project.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with HKF Construction. We renovated the entire upper floor of our home (renovation in late winter-early spring 2023, home was built in 1886 and was practically a gut job), and the project remained on time and on budget. All the teams involved in the work were professional, personable, arrived when they said they would, and had prompt communication. Hayce listened to our lists of “must haves”, helped optimize and make suggestions to our floor plan to make the best use of space, and considered the age and style of our home to ensure the renovation seamlessly fit in with the rest of the house. She cared for our home and project with an unparalleled attention to detail, making it feel like the project was her own home as well. I can’t wait to hire HKF Construction for future work on the house!

We have worked on a few remodel projects over the last few years and HKF Construction is the best remodeling company we have worked with. If we ever do another remodeling project they will be our go-to folks. She was very patient, and honest and advised us well on several phases of the project. Her crew is very professional and respectful and Hayce takes care of their people well, which is reflected in their dedication to the project and the respect they showed for Hayce. We did have a few scheduling mess-ups during the project, but it was mainly due to the delays caused by the sliding door company. I would strongly recommend you give HKF Construction a chance and get a quote from them. I am glad I did!
