Had Northstar install metal roof, gutters and siding 2 years ago. After the first winter the gutters were falling off. Had to complain about it and pay someone to come back out and fix it. 2 years later, gutters are falling off again. I should have hired experts. Won’t make that mistake again.

Highly recommend Manny Casas Construction! I had 1 week to get a full carpet removal and replacement and everything was very last minute (and stressful). They were able to fit me in their schedule within 2 days and got it done quickly, professionally, and assisted with removal of the previous carpet product. I could not recommend them enough. Unbeatable price:performance and communication. Communication: Very calm, thoughtful, accommodative, responsive and solution focused – be 100% transparent and you get 100% transparency back. I shared my circumstances with him and he talked me through what options exist, what it would cost, and the risks and benefits of each approach. Ultimately due to my budget, we decided to take it slower and drop in timeslots for work on my deck between his other projects and life happenings. I was never in the dark and he never did anything without first consulting me on the situation, my options, and the costs of each route. Everything goes on paper and is line itemized for easy reference as well. Scheduling: Scheduling was relatively flexible and dynamic. A couple delays happened due to theft of his tools and my supplier lagging on shipments of parts, but there was strong communication around it and rescheduling anything was a breeze. Performance: I think due to the nature of the way we did scheduling, there were days where we went a little slower because we were a bit tired, and that’s totally fine. The work was done in a measured, methodical fashion. He showed what he planned to do for different steps and then did exactly that. Demolition was clean, the jobsite was always clean as well. Out of the entire project there were a couple rough cuts, but they are really hard to notice even with scrutiny. Considering the price of the work and the fact that of 9 bids on the project, his was the second lowest, I’m extremely happy. Not only did he do what was on the bid, but he noticed that removing the railing left a lot of exposed unpainted wood and trim on the house, and he offered to repaint the raw spots as well as the adjacent door and window trim to make things look a lot fresher. In that process he noticed the casements didn’t have caulking or insulation, so he fixed that as well. I offered to pay for that since it was above and beyond, but the fact he wanted to do that to make sure everything looked its best is a huge reason I’ll keep working with Juan on future projects. Price: This was a second story 10×10 deck. No structural work needed to be done since i was just redecking with new railings. His bid was the second lowest with all the higher bids going 22-300% above his and the lower bid being only about 20% lower (but the person making the bid didn’t have a personality I felt comfortable working with) Again, super happy and will work with again any chance I get.

I will be calling them for ALL of my projects! We had a beautiful horizontal fence installed and it took a total of two days for about 90-100 feet of fence. The details are flawless and we are so incredibly happy with the result. Communication was wonderful (he came to look at the property the same day I called) and we had the work scheduled quickly after we agreed to move forward. The site was kept clean and he made quick and effortless work of the fence that is now the shining star of our property. When we have the funds to get new windows/doors and siding, he’ll be the only one we call!
