Administratively, the process could not have been easier from appointment to final payment. Easy! Operationally, Raul is ‘da man! He quickly diagnosed my problem, retrieved the necessary equipment and cleared not only the initial problem … but also a secondary problem that would have required a second service call. JC Tile and Wood Flooring 4 years agoPLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CONTRACTOR. I originally wanted laminate I installed in 2013 redone because of wear and tear. We plan to sell our home this year. Jorge, the owner quoted me a better price for tile. We agreed he’d install tile on both my living rooms and one hallway. The first day, he ran out of tile, but pulled the same tile from a future job. Poor management, but it worked out. I got a warning from the city to remove rolled carpet from my side yard. I told the officer that surely the company would move it upon finishing.The carpet was never discarded. The workers broke the original tile on my daughters restroom & no one bothered to tell me. We confronted Jorge the following day and his solution was creative (see photos), but still devalues in the eye of a buyer. The last day, Jorge put a transition between my room and second living room and topped it with my cat’s litter and food. A few hours later I saw the glue oozed out from under the transition and turned white (as seen in photos). I contacted Jorge ASAP with the photos with no response, which was unusual because most of his responses during the job had been in one minute or the same minute. I waited an hour and sent another message. NOTHING BACK.. I waited a day and finally put some pressure for him to respond before a specified time. NOTHING AGAIN. As seen in the screenshots I provided, we prayed for him, but expressed we needed to warn others. Other photos you see are dark glue from a previous transition that they failed to scrape off (even though he told me it would be easy). My parents were ready to give him business on their home, but changed their minds quickly. I wish him the best and I hope he upgrades his quality, communication, and integrity, especially because he says he’s been doing this for several years. .
