Choose your cleaning services with caution! My senior parents were given a $250 gift card to Molly Maid last Christmas. That seemed very generous and more than enough for a house cleaning. When they made their appointment, however, they were told it might not cover everything but they wouldn’t know until they got started. Red flag #1! 🚩 On the day of service, three cleaners arrived and my parents told them not to bother upstairs (the main level of the house is around 1800 sf). As two seniors with one small, hypoallergenic dog, their home isn’t very dirty or cluttered. After a total of 3 hours, my parents were told they owed Molly Maid an extra $200 (on top of the $250 GC)!! Charging $450 for that size home IS OUTRAGEOUS!!! (And they said that wasn’t even cleaned very well.) They felt uneasy doing anything other than paying at the time, but I am disgusted and feel like they were exploited. Starting work without committing to an agreed upon price is bad business and holding customers hostage is dishonest. Beware if you ever use this company or any others, especially if you’re elderly. It’s shameful that Molly Maid operates this way!

Excellent service! The ladies were friendly and thorough. They sent three people for our initial cleaning, which was much needed and made it go faster. Great job on cleaning the refrigerator as well. My mom is very happy with her new clean house! (they even sent someone within 30 minutes after the cleaners left to check and make sure everything was OK.)
