I have to admit, I was very excited to try Canton Cleaning Company but was ultimately left incredibly disappointed with the service received. I had an appt for a Monday and after not hearing from anyone and the time window nearing close, I reached out and left a voicemail. It was after my reach out that I received a call that the cleaner had been in a “fender bender” and wouldn’t be able to make it. We rescheduled for the next day. I made it clear I would have to go to the office and wouldn’t be home for the duration of the clean and that I had a dog (very friendly) who would be home. When the cleaners arrived, that seemed to surprise them and they seemed to be scared of dogs which left me a little nervous but I had to go to work. I left but before doing so, I gave them clear instructions to please close my GUEST ROOM door when they leave. They were there for less than 2 full hours. I had even paid extra for additional services (wiping down baseboards and cleaning glass of interior windows) and the standard service wasn’t even close to met. Drink rings on the tables, thick dust from home renos on the tables not even touched, a sticky film on my hard wood floors (and foot prints everywhere) the inside of microwave still dirty, not a single interior window cleaned, dusty baseboards, dining room table and kitchen counters still spotty AND the incorrect bedroom door closed (and trust me, I pointed and explained clearly which door should be closed) and therefore my cat was locked in the bedroom ALL day and then RUINED the brand new carpet I had laid just a week prior. When I complained (after paying an initial $47 deposit) I was offered to have someone come back out to complete the job. I did not accept that offer as the cleaning was originally supposed to be done the day prior AND I had guests coming to stay and needed the cleaning finished so I had to do it myself. I was then told I wouldn’t be charged for the additional services requested and would be given 15% discount to my final invoice. Quite honestly, I don’t think having only bathroom cleaned and bedroom carpet vacuumed was even remotely worth the $144.50 I was ultimately charged. I do not recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I have been using the Canton Cleaning Co for awhile for biweekly cleaning I have to say I am very pleased overall. I recently had the pleasure of having Iris clean my space and when I came home I was over the moon with how thorough and clean everything was. She made my space more functional and took the time to really clean anywhere she could including my laundry machines. They have extremely reasonable prices as well. Anytime I’ve had concerns, the front office has done a wonderful job of working with me. Huge thank you again to Iris and so grateful I have you all helping keep my place clean!

I hired The Canton Cleaning Company for a move-in clean. The clean was generally well done, but some critical spots were missed. The company refunded me accordingly to compensate for the errors.

Canton Cleaning stole my $54.75 deposit. Do NOT do business with them! Selected the “Post renovation cleaning” of my newly renovated home: three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Prior to booking the cleaning, I asked Faviola in the office if Canton Cleaning was equipped with the tools to get rid of all the DUST caused by a renovation, and I was assured that by selecting the post renovation cleaning, they would bring the right equipment. To my surprise, the day of the cleaning, the cleaner arrived with a low grade residential vacuum cleaner, spray bottles, cloths, and a SWIFFER. My home is an unfurnished new purchase. There was a 4 foot ladder, an extension cord, and 6 cans of paint in the living room. I advised the cleaning lady she could start where she wanted while I moved the items into the basement. She stated: “no, no no move!” She then took out her phone and took pictures of the items WHILE I moved the minimal items into the basement, she called the office at Canton Cleaning and told someone that the house was too much for her to clean. The cleaner then stated to me, “this house too much for me, too much for me.” I felt so sorry for her as she was not advised by her employer that this was a post renovation cleaning. She was not equipped to clean renovation level dust with the swiffer she was given. She immediately left my house while apologizing! I called the office and advised Faviola that the cleaner was not equipped with what she needed to complete the cleaning and she left my home. I was told by Faviola of Canton Cleaning that the 4 foot ladder and cans of paint meant my home could not be cleaned. I advised Faviola that the items had already been moved while the cleaning lady was still in my home and I asked her what they would do if my house was furnished, tell me to move the furniture out?? I then advised Faviola that I expect my deposit back as their cleaner told me the cleaning was too much for her and the couple of items in the living room was not the real issue, especially since I moved them into the basement BEFORE she left!!! But, the level of dust was the real issue! The cleaner told me clear as day: “I’m sorry, this too much for me, they no tell me about all this.” Faviola then advised that my deposit would not be returned. I insisted that Canton Cleaning do the right thing and refund my deposit as we are not doing business together! Faviola advised that a director would reach out to me and that was a lie so she could get off the phone. I called back 3 times and was told that a director would call me. I don’t understand dishonest people like this. Canton Cleaning sent a woman to my home who knew the job was too much for her, she left my home, yet they are penalizing me by refusing to return my deposit. Do NOT do business with Canton Cleaning.

Referred a friend, after my dad used this service and she was spoken to very poorly by Fabiola in the office. Canton Cleaning basically swindled her out of a deposit when they could not deliver. Dishonest payment practices. Very disappointed.

I have been using Canton Cleaning for several years. Some of the reasons I really like them are: – Very responsive and friendly planning staff – they take notes about experiences, and will ask for as many details as possible prior to the next cleaning. – I have never been pressured to commit to a regular schedule, many companies treat you differently or push too hard if you want single cleanings. – Their concept is about getting the job done. They don’t skip tasks, or prolong the outing to stick to exact hours – if you are not a regular, it is impossible to know how much time things will take, and they consider that in planning. – Cleaners often go above and beyond, and cater to the client’s specific needs and requests. They are always on-time, respectful, and nice. I would feel entirely comfortable having them clean my home if I was not present.

I booked a move-out cleaning and couldn’t be more impressed with the Canton Cleaning Company. Not only were the two cleaners who arrived at my apartment for the cleaning polite, attentive, and considerate but also the administration at the Baltimore office was courteous and promptly addressed all my questions. The cleaning itself was immaculate. I mentioned to my wife that the apartment was cleaner than when we first moved in. Every area I requested cleaned was spotless, fragrant, and polished. I highly recommend this cleaning company.
