My mother hired “Geaux Maids” to clean her home. I am writing a review on her behalf do to her not being involved with the internet. The woman that came to clean was super nice, prompt and professional. My mother omitted three rooms so it was two bedrooms, two bathrooms, the living room, laundry room, kitchen and small room in front, some people call it a “Mud Room.” The woman missed the “Mud room” completely, missed dust and dirt on mostly everything, she did a mediocre job at best! Skipped over shelves in bathroom, shelves in kitchen, nothing was even moved! It’s very disappointing, and for the price I believe “Geaux Maids” are taking advantage of people and I don’t appreciate it. The issues were brought up in a phone call where the company requested photos and were sent. There was no resolve , no apologies no partial refund for the job not being completed! Not cool!

Hired to do a standard cleaning of my house before I had guest arrive. Nothing deep, just surfaces and general tasks. When I got home, the cleaner was gone and there was still dust, dog hair, grime in all the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. For $300 you’d expect the house to be spotless in terms of general cleaning. The house also did not smell clean, and they didn’t even vacuum or mop. I was unsatisfied with my cleaning and have tried emailing and calling them, but have received no response. I’ve attached the photos that I took directly after they left. Do not hire them, this is a scam.

Company stands behind their work. We had Miranda as the cleaning technician and she was outstanding and takes great care of the customer and did a great job cleaning.

Jade did an excellent job cleaning our house. It was our first time having someone clean our house. She definitely went above and beyond our expectation. I hope to use this company for many years to come!

Abigail was a new maid replacing our former maid that has been with us for about a year since we first started having a cleaning service with Geaux maids. I have to admit I was trepidatious about the transition with a new maid but she performance was stellar. She arrived on time, was very conscientious about not disturbing me while on a conference call for work, and cleaned very quick and efficiently. Within the allotted time she tidied, cleaned, and dusted every room in the house. I can’t stress how much at ease our family coming home to a clean home and having such a considerate and efficient maid when working from home is a great experience. I highly recommend Abigail and Geaux maids for any cleaning service.

I called to set up home weekly service 2 months in advance. I received an acceptable quote and was told they would get in touch with me with a date and time at the end of the month prior to service. No call. I emailed the rep I had talked to, the email had been cancelled. I called. No apology, no explanation and apparently no record for my service. Sent the emails with the quote and timing. Still no apology, no explanation. Was told the information would be given to “them”. Waited a week, no response. Sent an email requesting a response by the end of the next business day. No response. Frustrating and completely unprofessional. One star is too much, but I didn’t see a zero.

Just say NEAUX to GEAUX MAIDS! I requested an online quote based on their website that claims to service the Northshore (Hammond/Mandeville) and received a quote. I booked on 8/13/20 for service on 8/20/20. Problem is I received an email less than 48 hours prior that my cleaning was being cancelled “because they don’t service my area”. It’s between Hammond and Mandeville AND on the Northshore, so I’m not sure why it took the staff so long to figure out they do not service between those two areas. But now I have guests coming and no one to clean my home and was not notified until 36 hours prior to appointment. I spoke to someone there this morning and she said “let me call some of the “girls” in Hammond and see if they want to go the 9 miles to reach my house…I told her forget it – she should have done that BEFORE cancelling my appointment. I am very highly disappointed in the customer service. They obviously need help if they are giving quotes for areas they don’t even service!!!!!!!!!!!! So unprofessional.
