My place was probably a lot messier than they’re used to, especially since the main reason I called them was because I had gotten overwhelmed with trash/boxes/clothes/dishes after moving a month ago, but the blue team really came through! They were friendly, made conversation with me, and paid good attention to the focus areas I wanted. They went over the hour by a few minutes, but still didn’t charge any more for it. The only thing I’m not super keen on is the limited payment options. I didn’t have cash or a check so I had to give my credit card information over the phone. They also didn’t have a great way of managing tips- I want to be sure 100% of it goes to the workers (just adding it to my total receipt, without specifying how much I tipped, doesn’t make me feel super secure about that). Overall good experience and will probably be contacting them again for periodic deep cleans.

The team arrived exactly on time. They were very pleasant, and they got right to work. They were very thorough and double-checked with each other to make sure all areas were complete. I have used this company for years and have always been very pleased!

Great team! They did a fantastic job making the place look new again! A friend of mine recommended them, and I wasn’t disappointed. They were amazing at cleaning my entire apartment and were good communicators too! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs professional cleaning!

They brought 4 maids over for an hour to clean my EMPTY 850sqft condo I was moving into. I pointed out what I wanted them to pay attention to, and I left for the hour. When I returned, the washer still had garbage in it, but the place looked relatively clean. The supervisor said to me along the lines of, “We only had an hour. There is only so much we can do.” YOU HAD FOUR MAIDS FOR AN EMPTY 900sqft PROPERTY. What were they even doing? The place was not dirty to begin with. It just needed to be touched up, and they failed to do the things I asked of them in the first place. After they left, I noticed there was still a lot of dust in the window sills and light fixtures that I had asked them to clean. Rip off. I wasted $200 which is the MINIMUM they charge.

I’ve been using The Maids for over 10 years (a decade!) to clean my house. I even kept them when we moved a few years ago. The quality of work has steadily gone downhill. The team will show up early with no notice whatsoever. They don’t even empty all my trash cans, my wall decor is always leaning sideways after they’ve been there, and little things like light switches and door handles are not getting cleaned. I have referred countless people to The Maids and I have been a loyal customer for a very long time. It is now under new ownership and apparently the new owner has zero interest in keeping my business. Their team showed up early (again) this week and I called to tell them this is not acceptable. You would think that your customer of 10 years would be valuable enough for an apology and maybe offer a discount or something considering I have been paying in full every 3 weeks and even add extra cleanings for holidays (150 a month for 10 years, you do the math). I called to cancel my service today and find another company and was met with a simple, “ok”. Really? Not even an “I’m sorry to hear that” or anything. I will be telling everyone I have referred to cancel their service immediately. One already has and met with the same “ok” and lack of question or apology. I’m sure they won’t be missed either since apparently The Maids of Simi Valley no longer cares about their customers. They don’t even want to ask why you’re leaving them or if there’s anything they can do to keep you. They don’t want to keep you. Pretty disappointing, to say the least.
