HDR Remodeling a month agoWe used HDR for a down-to-the-studs kitchen and bathroom remodel and couldn’t be happier. Our designers, Kendall and Gia came up with a creative plan that gave us more room and a completely updated look and feel while maintaining our house’s footprint. They listened to our desire to use the most eco friendly materials that we could afford. Kendall, the lead designer for our project, offered just the right amount of suggestions for colors, finishes, lighting and other materials without overwhelming us. She was always responsive to texts and emails and maintained transparency throughout the process. Our project manager, Wilson was also excellent. He was supportive and helpful as we managed to donate our old appliances. He was completely responsive to texts and questions. He was always communicative regarding the status and schedule of the project. He is a brilliant craftsmen, evidenced by his impeccable workmanship. While there were a few small glitches along the way, as there always are with larger projects, they were handled and resolved in a timely and open manner. HDR maintains a policy to complete the design phase and obtain all of the materials before a hammer touches a wall. While this takes time and lots of planning, it assures that the work phase of the project goes smoothly with minimal delays, such as waiting for materials to arrive, etc. The team at HDR was excellent for us and for our project. We love living in our beautifully remodeled home and recommend the company. Thank you Kevin and Kendall and Wilson!

Gilor Remodeling Group 3 weeks agoMy wife and I bought our house 10 years ago and we’ve been planning to have an addition built since we the beginning. After much deliberation, we finally decided to get it done and met with a few contractors in the area. Gilor Remodeling was one of the first companies we spoke to, and from the beginning we knew we were going to go with them. Or Haim was our project coordinator and he was great at communicating what to expect at each stage of the project. We were connected with their designer, architect, and engineer so everything was taken care of by Gilor Remodeling from the very start. Their office also took care of the entire permit process so really the only expectations from us were to decided on our design and layout, and getting our finished materials for the job. From start to finish, Gilor Remodeling and Or Haim did everything to make this project to as smoothly as possible for my wife and I. We couldn’t be happier with the end results, and I really appreciated when they sent their guys back to fix any minor issues. I highly recommend them, and will be using them again in the future for more projects.

6 Hammers Construction 4 weeks agoThis company works in cahoots with Bridgewater Emeryville to screw tenants out of their security deposits. They have a sketchy move-out practice in place where they will charge egregious amounts for items that do not require fixing at all such as “updating towel holders”. They robbed us of over $1000 on baseless garbage. I wouldn’t trust them with any other services if this is how they conduct themselves with a simple move-out.
