We hired DeSoto cleaning to take care of our short term rentals. The owner of the company told us they take care of other short term properties and they are familiar with the process. In fact she said they have their own check list and the ladies are trained to follow it to make sure the cleaning is up to guest expectation standard and includes laundry service. Initially they did a good job. After few or so cleanings things started going downhill FAST. I noticed that all of the lights were being left on after completion. Sometimes they were on for several days as we are not always able to make to the properties the same day after cleaning. I started noticing that more and more things were not getting cleaned (stains on the counters, hair in the bathroom sink, unmopped kitchen floor with noticeable crumbs in the corners and uncleaned stainless appliances. After looking at CCTV I noticed that her workers started spending 45 minutes to clean a 1000sqft 2/1 apartment where it usually takes a pro 4 man hours to clean and disinfect thoroughly per short term rental requirements. I contacted the owner to meet with her and go over the property in question and address areas of improvement and her first response was that the prices are going up 20%. After ignoring me for a month I disclosed the issues over the phone and she stated she is no longer interested in cleaning our properties, though her daughter apologized for shortcomings and blamed in on one of their workers who turned in her notice, yet the owner kept sending her to our properties knowing she was no longer interested in cleaning. The owner cut ties with us a few days before our month-long absence, which was hugely inconvenient. Her daughter agreed to honor the schedule while we were away, but only after she hiked the price additional 20%. We had to cut down on our bookings as she was only available on the weekends and it turn the situation significantly impacted our income. Here comes the best part. The owner took it upon herself to return our linens and towels a day early than agreed. She and one of her workers snuck up and dumped bags on the ground and left without notice. We didn’t find the bed sheets and linens until the next morning. We realized that after our cats slept on top of our expensive supplies it also poured overnight and everything was soaked and stained. We had to wash everything, and luckily were able to remediate everything as nothing dried and molded over. She also only returned about half of what she owed us, which is probably why she snuck up behind our house and dumped it there in order to prevent confrontation. This is not the way to run a cleaning business, and unfortunately this is what you to expect from this “outfit”. If unsupervised the service will become expensive, unreliable and unprofessional regardless of how good the first cleaning might look.

This company came and cleaned my home after i had my floors refinished. They did SUCH an amazing job and they were so incredible with pricing as well. I cannot wait to use them again. Highly highly recommend.
