Trident Construction a month agoHad a flat tire today in Charleston, two air machines at 2 different gas stations were broken tried to take tire off a man and his coworker came over saw we were having problems and offered to help, he couldn’t get the tire off to change it, so he went to job site to get tool and he changed the tire. He said his company Trident appreciated them helping people.

Surface Specialists Inc 8 months agoKennedy came out to resurface our upstairs bathtub which had crack. He worked most of the day without stopping and kept everything as clean as possible. Final product was amazing. Great technician. Definitely recommend him and his company for any resurfacing projects.

Southeast Kitchens a month agoI bought a 1950’s house in Charleston in 2020 and it still contained the original kitchen (plus layers and layers of linoleum, time-machine style) and needed a total gut job. The house also needed the wood floors refinished, I wanted to convert a weird air-conditioner hole into a functional closet, the living room needed new flooring and all the ceiling needed to be converted from popcorn to smooth. I was definitely intimidated by the project and wasnt sure if the broad scope would fit within my budget and what SEK was capable of. Well, SEK did all of it and more. I am over the moon with the results. Jonathan was practical and professional. Beth kept me informed every step of the way – she would text me the night before with reminders of who was showing up at my house and when so I never felt like there were random weirdos in my home (I live by myself). She is very talented at interior design and was an amazing sounding board for design ideas in addition to managing this large project with a lot of moving parts. I tend to have champagne taste on a beer budget and Beth was able to find really smart, creative ways to get the look I wanted and not make me bankrupt. I chose to live in my house during the remodel (for lack of other options) and they kept it very carefully organized so that I could still access my living spaces and had time to move my possessions around. All of the contractors were polite and professional and never left a mess – even during the complete demolition days. Beth and Jonathan were realistic about the tough parts of the project (I was washing dishes in my bathtub for a brief amount of time – it was a COMPLETE kitchen gut job) and attentive and helpful through every step. I had a pretty tight budget and they somehow found a way to make everything I wanted happen within those constrictions. My kitchen is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G and my favorite part of my home. It truly turned out so much better than I could have imagined. The other projects (closet, flooring, ceilings, etc) also were great and they helped keep all of this well organized so I could still live in my home and not lose my mind. 10/10, I have recommended them to all my friends and I couldnt be happier. I would (and will) work with them again in a heartbeat.
