The technician charged me $65 extra to clean the rug on top of the carpet. I don’t think that’s right since he would have had to clean that 8×10 area anyway if the rug wasn’t there. I feel like I’ve been scammed out of $65. The actual work was fine except for being overcharged.

For starters, Duke Brothers does a great job of giving estimates and advice on rug cleaning. Their turn-around time is exceptional and the service is friendly and trustworthy. We had a moth damaged oriental that they had cleaned and wrapped for storage years ago. I neglected to have it treated for moths at that time. When we recently unwrapped it and found moths, Barry took it and worked on it so that the damage is barely visible at no charge to us. Amazing! Barry is incredibly knowledgeable about rugs. Anything you need to know, ask him.
