Mumtaz and his colleagues did great work on the first three carpets they cleaned, and I’m sure they’ll be just as good on the batch they’re working on now. The Tabriz they cleaned and repaired has never looked better.

I am in my 80’s but still do my own housekeeping. Every time I would vacuum my 3 oriental rugs, the fringe would get entangled in the vacuums roller. I have arthritis and am a lot weaker than I used to be. So I wanted the fringe removed. They did this and it looks very nice. They also repaired a rug that my sister bought about 60 years ago in a small village in Iran or Turkey. The largest rug I have has a very light background. It had been discolored by the driveway resurfacing material over the years. I had it cleaned, but they simply sprayed it with something. It didn’t look any different when they were done. Golden Knots restored it to its previous brightness. It took weeks for them to do all this. It was not cheap. But oh, was it worth it. I spend most of my time in a recliner at home. I LOVE the way all 3 rugs turned out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this service if you have rugs that you value. Your eyes will enjoy looking at them for years to come. It was totally worth the time and money expended.

I cannot emphasize how happy I am with this business. I have a larger antique persian rug (8×12) that my my children spilled ORANGE gatorade on and hid for several months under the sofa. Also, the rugs binding at the edge was starting to come undone on two corners. None of this was a problem for Golden Knots rug cleaning; they had my rug cleaned and repaired so meticulously I cannot not find where the repairs were done. And the huge orange gatorade stain is GONE. The prices are so fair that when I received the estimate for the cleaning and the repair I thought it was for the cleaning only. I had my rug cleaned 2 years ago by a different business in Chicago that charged me twice the going rate of Golden Knots. I am always looking for small businesses to become a loyal patron of, and this is one of them. Amazing service, amazing quality, amazing pricing. DO NOT HESITATE to contact them!
