Frigging shysters stay away!!! Had duct cleaning done in 2018 and 2022. Just the ducts no unit. $179 each time. Called today they said $350. I said you quoted me same price. “Oh we also clean the units now and it’s $350.” I said I don’t need unit cleaned. He said we do it right now and clean it all. So I’m, hmmm so you did it wrong in last 2 jobs? Unreal.

Thieves!!!!! Stole a firearm from our home after trying to up charge our standard cleaning to a $2500 service. Randy seems to be a trend at doing this based off other previous reviews. Steer clear from this scam of a company. Not only will they try to up-charge but they will steal your valuables.

I have been a longtime customer for 18 years and regularly get my carpets cleaned (by sears). Last week, I just paid almost $1300 to Sears for duct cleaning. I’ve spent thousands of dollars, getting my carpets cleaned by sears, over the years. Well no more! I’m so done w Sears after the experience I just had. I went online and booked a carpet cleaning appointment for Saturday Oct 9th. Nicole from sears called me to verify the day/time but told me no appointment was available for that day, so we confirmed and scheduled for Thursday, the 14th of October. (In the afternoon). The 14th came and nobody showed up!! I was having all rooms cleaned so that meant moving ALL of my living room furniture into the kitchen as well as moving 5 other rooms and the furniture in those rooms to my garage, back patio, etc! I also took the day off from work so I could get this done. I have 5 kids, one is special needs, and I made arrangements for all 5 kids to be out of the house during the time SEARS was supposed to be there, that way no kids were in the way. Nobody showed up!!! No phone call, no email..Nothing. I finally called SEARS and Nicole says she never even scheduled my appointment. She must have forgotten to put it in the system, but we sure did confirm the day and time (Thurs. Oct 14 in the PM) Now..I’m told, sears cannot clean the carpets until 2-3 more weeks out as there are no available times! Unacceptable!! I know people make mistakes and nobody is perfect, however, nothing was done to correct this mistake or even accommodate me for all of this inconvenience. Its extremely disappointing, disrespectful, and frustrating. This is very upsetting to me. I just cannot, in good faith, be a loyal customer to this company any longer. Update: Sears went out of business..has very little business in AZ now. No wonder!!!✌🏼

SCAM ALERT: If I could give negative stars I would. We scheduled an aid duct cleaning with Sears, estimate was $600 for our whole house. The technician, Randy S. showed my mom a picture of an old, dirty air handler that wasn’t even ours, and wanted to charge her $2,400 to disinfect and seal the leaks in the system. My mom was home when Randy arrived, she called me at my son’s soccer game and said the tech showed her a picture of the air handler and it was full of dirt, he said there was tape on the air ducts and leaks everywhere. He wanted to charge $2,400 to disinfect the air handler and seal the duct work. We were home about 10 minutes later and I went into the attic; Randy had removed a bunch of the metal tape sealing the panel on part of the air handler where the coils were, he left wads of tape laying around and didn’t re-seal holes or access panels where he had removed tape. The inside of the air handler had some dust and dirt in the bottom, but nothing like what he described and he definitely showed my mom a different picture than our system. I took pictures and showed her to confirm this. Once I was in the attic Randy finished his work and left as fast as he could. We never got our receipt, my mom called twice and Sears said they would email it but they never did. I ended up buying some metal tape for $13 at Home Depot and re-sealed the panel, gaps & holes Randy S. left. Imagine how many customers they scam out of thousands of dollars, if a homeowner doesn’t regularly go into the attic or isn’t familiar with their own HVAC system. I don’t know if this is Sears’ upselling method or if it’s just what Randy did. It’s sad because Sears used to be our go-to when we needed carpets or air ducts cleaned at our old houses.

Made an on line appointment. I had an email confirmation but not a follow up confirmation of time. Three calls to the Sears number without a response from the local office. We’ve used Sears for years. Normally they are awesome. Not this time. We canceled. All that after moving furniture.

Quoted $84.00 to clean 2 small bedrooms, He called and said I needed the scrubber machine and that would be $100.00 more. So if your going to clean carpet you should use a machine that cleans it not one so you can get in the door and up sell. Last time I call sears.A bunch of clowns.

Today we had our air ducts cleaned. They used a gas powered compressor to blow out the ducts, which filled our house with CO2. Shortly after Sears left, our co2 detectors started going off. We called the fire department out and they had to air out our house in hazmat suits because the CO2 level was at 60. My husband then called Sears to let them know what the fire department said and that they should be aware of this for future customers. The lady was extremely rude and insensitive and said she had never gotten a phone call like that and said “I don’t know what you want me to do about that”. Needless to say we won’t be using Sears again for air duct cleaning and we will be more aware of people using gas compressors around our home.

Scheduled an air duct and dryer vent cleaning. Ducts went great but there was a bird nest in the dryer vent they wanted to charge an extra 250 for because they needed special equipment for it. Seemed a little steep and said no. After they left the dryer vent that was working (with the nest in it) was completely blocked. When I called to follow up I noticed that they had charged for rooftop vents and mine are at the side of my house. After complaining that their service made my vents worse not better and I was overcharged for it I was told they had to check with management on how to proceed. Later I received a voicemail telling me the charges were not being reversed and they’d be happy to come out with their “special equipment” and clear the vent for $250. I bought an electric leaf blower for a fraction of that, cleared it myself and I finally got that 100% satisfaction guarantee they had been talking about.
