Woodycrest Construction & Design Corp 6 years agoGoing through renovations, is one of the most stressful times in people’s lives. HGTV’s “Flip-this-House” with their smiling hosts, make things look easy. Nothing in renovations is cheap, easy or fast. Renovations test relationships and strain budgets alike. We are certainly not an exception to the rule. Picking a competent contractor is a key step in ensuring work gets done as advertised, for a fair price. After interviewing a dozen contractors, we are very fortunate that we were introduced to Tony from Woodycrest. Tony immediately stood out from the pack due to his construction knowledge, responsiveness, attention to detail and honesty. He produced detailed estimate in a reasonable time, while others didn’t. Tony was always available to address follow-up questions and concerns, while others weren’t. Tony priced individual pieces of the job, while others didn’t. Tony’s prices were fair and in-line with market rates, while others used nonsensical benchmarks. Tony and his crew from Woodycrest worked closely with our Engineer, Architect and Kitchen Designer to take the project from Start to Finish, in agreed time at an agreed price. Tony’s team completely gutted and fully re-built both of our bathrooms and kitchen. Rewired all electric, gutted all the plumbing throughout; built custom cabinets and built-ins. Not an easy task with plaster walls in an old home. The best way I can summarize our experience with Woodycrest, is that Tonys crew is highly competent, professional and efficient. Tony is an excellent construction manager and does “what’s right” by the client, no gimmicks and no surprises. For the reasons above, I highly recommend Tony from Woodycrest for your next project!

Westchester Kitchen & Bath 6 months agoI had to return an in-stock/in store bathroom vanity and they charged me a 35% restocking fee. The salesperson was very helpful when I purchased the vanity but to charge 35% restocking fee was over the top and beyond greedy. It wasn’t inflation but plain greed to charge 35% for an in-stock/in store vanity. 10-15% would be more than enough and reasonable but 35%?. I wouldn’t go there again for anything. The charge was more than excessive and it was a ripped off.
