I’ve used Landlord Locks for many years and bought scores of lock sets from them. They created my own personal master key for my apartments and tenant locks to match, and critically keep this information on file for every key and lock cylinder that they make for you. This recently became crucial when I discovered that my former maintenance man had completely disorganized my key tracking system, loosing most of the keys, and mislabeling the rest, mixing them up with older keys too. One call to LL Locks and they were able to replace every key, engraved with each cylinder code so that I could easily unscramble the mess. Every landlord should use their service.

The product is great – we love how easy the locks are to change between tenants! If my rating were based only on the product, it would be 5 stars. However, the order fulfillment component needs work. Orders mysteriously disappear (faxes – with confirmations – and online orders), and promises of delivery on or by certain dates are empty promises. I recommend following up orders with confirmation they’ve received, then request tracking information to verify delivery dates. If you can work around those issues, you’ll love the product!
