Cronkhite homes is professional and courteous, working with the homeowner to address most issues that arise. Having experienced all subcontractors in the three months of living in the home, I can say this company works with the homeowner and has all professional teams, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation and drainage, and the warranty dept, for a spec home. Kathy Mottolo in the reality section of this process was prompt to requests and even watched over the home I purchased for a month after closing, until my arrival. She is kind and attentive to all my needs and concerns. Thank you Cronkhite for all your hard work in this difficult climate of home building.

The house is perfect! I love how we received regular updates on the building progress. They made sure even the smallest issue was addressed promptly. I appreciate Kristy for giving me advice on simple things to do to maintain the house.

Our experience with Cronkhite has been a 8/10. Our contact, Nick, has been incredibly helpful in the building process. We have enjoyed his commitment to communication with us, and his commitment to remedy any mistakes or defects during the build process. We love our house and think it looks great. Excited to be a part of the Theran Place community. There are a few minor defects with the door handles, chrome flaking off first day. Our experience so far with AT&T has hit a roadblock. Our house is currently not able to get WiFi due to engineering or construction mistakes. Overall, no company or process is perfect. I think they did great work for entry level build cost for 2024. I hope the AT&T issue gets fixed asap across our community.

We have had an excellent experience with Cronkhite. Our home has not had any major problems, and any small things we find are fixed extremely fast. The warranty team is AMAZING. Sometimes they come out same day. Everyone we have spoken to has been very nice and helpful, you can tell they enjoy their job. We have truly been blown away at how many different people we have spoken to in the company, and how we have had such a great experience with every single one. Cronkhite is a great company that I would recommend to my friends and family, so happy we decided to go with them for our first home.

We absolutely loved being able to view the progress of our new home. We were able to stay up to date with all of the process from start to finish. James was absolutely phenomenal with us and made the process easy and meaningful. I can’t say how thankful we are for our new home. Cronkhite left us speechless.

Great experience buying our home. Love that they send photos of the progress on your home the entire time. Also the home owner orientation is a nice touch at the end. It’s good to know where everything is and to get to ask any questions you might have before moving in.

Cronkhite is a great company! Me and my wife just purchased our first home from them in the rogersville development and we are beyond grateful and satisfied! They were very attentive towards any of our requests and built our home exactly how we wanted! Great home quality and very welcoming company to work with! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Our experience with Cronkhite homes has been nothing but a mess. From the beginning, we were led to believe this would be a smooth process. However, after continually checking on the progress and status of our home, many mistakes were made that if not caught by us, they would have been left. From the bathroom closet not being framed, missing interior lights, to measuring our tray ceiling incorrect. All of which pointed out by us and not caught by their team. At one point, we were directed to no longer contact our Cronkhite consultants. Fast forward to moving in, we are informed the mail services were not set up correctly and unable to deliver to the neighborhood. Cronkhite blamed the post office. We were then informed at closing that internet lines were not ran. Cronkhite again blamed the developer instead of taking ownership for missing a crucial part to a functioning neighborhood. (They continue to blame the developer for the lack of internet even though they were responsible for hiring the developer). We were told we would have internet by Feb. 1, 2024. Cronkhite has continued to close homes with the false belief that internet will be ran “soon.” It is now almost May and we still do not have access to internet in the neighborhood and Cronkhite has not offered any solution to us. I would not recommend Cronkhite homes to anyone who is looking for a smooth home buying process. Cronkhite loves to blame others and does not take responsibility for their faults.
