Mr. Weber agreed to build a large covered deck for a friend of mine. To make a long story short, Mr. Weber delayed the project for a couple of months and then refused to return the sizable down payment when my friend got fed up with Mr. Weber’s excuses. My friend had to use an attorney to get his deposit back, but Mr. Weber kept thousands of dollars, citing breach of contract. It would have cost my friend too much money to sue. Does this seem fair? I wouldn’t recommend doing business with Mr. Weber.

Before you sign a contract with Mr. Weber, have it looked over by an attorney. Mr. Weber uses vague language in his contract like: “All jobs will be completed in a timely manner.” He and I agreed to a project, price and start date. I signed a contract and made a large down payment. Then the excuses began and the start date got postponed…again and again and again. When roughly two months had passed since the original start date, I gave Mr. Weber a deadline that he verbally agreed to. We agreed that I would get a full refund if the new deadline was not met. When the deadline came, I requested a full refund. Mr. Weber said I was in breach of contract and said that he was entitled to the full profit from the job, even though he had not even started the project. He demanded that all future correspondence be through his attorney. It then took another two months for my attorney and Mr. Weber’s attorney to agree to refund most of the deposit. Mr. Weber still kept $7,000 of the deposit without doing any work on the project. Suing Mr. Weber would have cost me much more than seven grand. Does this seem right to you? I would strongly suggest to not do business with Mr. Weber.

Mr. Weber created a beautiful screened deck for me, replaced all of my windows, and painted the exterior of my house. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products available and was clear about the pros and cons of each product and the price difference. He would let me know if it was worth the cost or if it was just cosmetic and let me make the decision. He always let me know when he would arrive and was always on time. He was extremely careful when doing demo work. He is also an expert at dealing with overly nosey and dramatic neighbors in a professional manner. The quality of his work is exceptional and you can tell he really takes pride in his work. I don’t think the word shortcut is even in his vocabulary. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to hire someone that will give a fair days work for a fair wage. Mr. Weber consistently showed me that he has an impeccable work ethic and he goal is provide quality service and the finished product.

I hired Gary of Acuity Construction to replace the front and rear doors on my home. It’s now been nearly a year since the work was done and I feel I can give an honest review. When I started the remodel I took some bids. Gary’s was not the highest nor the lowest. My grandpa always said to give the middle bid the best consideration, it’s most likely the honest bid. Gary was very polite and professional at all times. Not once did he ever make me feel uncomfortable or threatened. He didn’t speak down to me, even though I constantly peppered him with questions. My heat bill is down because of the replaced doors and because his work was exceptional. There is no leakage around the doors, they close firmly and lock securely. After nearly a year, they continue to do so. The area where the back door was removed and replaced with wall doesn’t leak the siding was replaced with skill. I can honestly recommend Gary of Acuity Construction.

Best Contractor Ever! Gary not only remodeled my kitchen and bathroom beyond my expectations, he willing repaired a multitude of irregularities and poor construction in my older home. The quality of his workmanship is of the highest grade and accuracy. Always courteous, trustworthy and friendly, Gary was very easy to have in my home during construction. The sub contractors used by Gary also matched his high standards of professionalism. Suggestions were offered without pressure, keeping my tastes foremost in mind. Respectful at all times, placing my needs before his, both remodels were completed timely, accurately and within budget. Always willing to go the extra mile, I highly recommend Acuity Construction and will not hesitate to call Gary in the future.

We had gary remodel to her bathrooms. We’ve had problems with both. In the basement shower you notice tile cracking and were able to get to the back wall of the shower and realized there was a lot of water buildup in the sheet rock. After removing the water damage we realize that he installed the drain wrong, including the wrong type of drain, the pan with the wrong material, install the liner wrong, and install the sheet rock touching the pan. After multiple attempts trying to reach him, with no response. We have contacted his bond.

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel with the work done by Gary Weber. Gary has put in a new back deck, a front deck and most recently renovated upstairs which previously would have been concerned a semi finished attic. His workmanship and craftsmanship is impeccable. He was attentive to every detail even in the midst of my thoughts on a change here and there. Simply I would say look no further than Acuity Construction for excellence and professionalism. The expression one call that’s all fits perfectly for services to be done by Gary Weber. He had contractors that worked with him and professionally he did not hesitate to tell them if something did not meet his standards or what he expected of their work. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the work done by Gary. Also to be mentioned he was always on time and quick to notify if there needed to be a change. As well as being professional he also has the patience of Job amid any changes or suggestions I might have made. Even with my family setbacks he was helpful and caring and might add even beyond what you might expect from a contractor. I am anticipating another project next year and it will be one call that’s all. The pictures on his website reflect the outstanding work done by Gary Weber. Think ahead your next project to be done Acuity Construction.

Gary finished a fairly large project for us recently. His bid was reasonable, and the quality of the construction turned out to be excellent. He is professional and easy to work with. The project was completed on time and on budget. I’ll choose Gary again the next time we need a contractor.
