We did a major remodel and also added some square footage to what used to be our old house. What a beautiful transformation it is! Ilan and his team did a marvelous job! Ilan is very knowledgable and attentive to detail.He gave us advise on what to opt for and what not to opt for; we never regretted going with his advise. We are very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I am extremely happy with Sigura Construction’s work on my home. There was a fire damage and none of the other construction companies wanted to work with me because they did not want to deal with my insurance company. They wanted $ handed over to them on a silver platter without having to work with my insurance. I spoke with 5-6 different construction companies, some local and some not, and after one or two conversations, they ghosted me. Nobody returned my calls or emails. I believe I called each place 6 or 7 times before I realized they did not want my business. It was frustrating and I was losing hope. My home remained damaged for a year and was a sore sight for the neighbors. Then I came across Sigura Construction. Found them on the internet. I called and spoke with the Office Manager. Then Ilan visited me and I gave him all the details. He took measurements and pictures and drafted up a quote. He and his staff were patient and unwavering and understood how to get the resources needed to fix my home. My insurance company was initially going to offer a measly amount to fix. They only cared about fixing or “bandaging” the exterior to cover the burn and maybe repair the wall. However, the damages and effects on the house were more devastating and Ilan was able to point that out to my insurance. He was so experienced at his work that he specifically described the damages and and what exactly was needed to bring the house back to its previous state which is an obligation of the insurance. He also knew the law too. Sigura Construction stuck with me every step of the way and did not abandon me like all the other construction companies out there. Truthfully, I think those companies probably were not smart enough to deal with my insurance and backed off. Anyways, I am so glad I found Sigura Construction and I will definitely use them again for anything else I need.

Very professional team. They provide a turnkey solution for any renovation need you might have. From garage conversion all the way to rebuilding. 3 of my friends also did big project with them. Ilan and the team are fun to work with, they don’t compromise on quality and we’re able to deliver our project on time and on budget. Highly recommended

I have done two major remodeling projects with Sigura Construction over the past three years. The first was an update of the kitchen and bathroom in my 1940s-era concrete-block house on the SF Peninsula. Sigura’s estimate was detailed and fairly priced, taking into consideration the time that would be required for permit approvals and inspections (no easy feat during COVID). During construction, Ilan and his team communicated quickly and clearly whenever something came up that required a change order (you never know what you’ll find behind 80-year-old wallboard…) They brought the project in on time and on budget, and we love the results. The second project was even more impressive. Last year my family was living in Europe on a temporary work assignment when our tenants brought to our attention to a mildew problem in the bedrooms, specifically on the inside of the exterior walls. This is not what you want to hear when you are 6000 miles away! Luckily we had Ilan. He proposed an ambitious project to insulate the exterior walls from the inside using closed-cell foam insulation, and at the same time to replace all the flooring he had not yet refreshed in the bath-and-kitchen job. We told him we had new tenants arriving in a few months and everything needed to be done before they arrived. Ilan was excited for the challenge. His team handled all the details, starting with moving all our furniture into a storage container in the driveway. Then, with impressive professionalism, they executed the project precisely on schedule—and that included all the typical unforeseen challenges, like when they discovered a layer of ancient linoleum under the existing parquet floor, or when we had to relocate an old gas line to bring it up to code. My family is truly grateful for the care and diligence of Ilan, Chris, and the entire Sigura team on this project. We arrived home a few weeks ago to what felt like a brand-new house, thanks to Sigura Construction. I highly recommend working with them.

We had Sigura Construction work on a renovation before we moved into a 10-year old home we purchased. We had them do a few things: – Convert carpet to wood in two rooms – Re-carpet a converted garage – Repaint the walls – Install two toilets – Fix some hinges Their subcontractor who did the wooden floors was great. That was the best part of their service. Everything else caused us headaches. For the re-carpeted garage, the edges of the carpet where they had to nail it to be stabilized ended up having nails protrude through the carpet so if you walked along the edge or tried to exit the door you got cut by the nail. We had to tell them to come back and flatten it. For the repainted walls, they broke two crown moldings on the ceiling (photos attached). For the installed toilets, one of them was a Toto and they installed it such that you can’t close the side of the toilet because they did shoddy pipework. The second toilet required pulling some low voltage electrical work, but they didn’t properly repaint the wall. (Photos attached). Second to last, after they collected their money, it took teeth-pulling for them to come fix these remaining issues. Lastly, they had some extra wooden planks from installing the floor, their guy tried to run off with the extra ones to return and pocket the money for himself without refunding us.
