May Construction did a great job on our living room and master bathroom remodel. Greg’s personal walkthrough right at the beginning really helped us figure out what we wanted to do. Then his design staff turned ideas into 3D renderings which gave us an accurate visual of what things would look like. The construction team was very good, all personable, knowledgeable craftsman who did excellent work and were always willing to answer questions and listen to our input. The job was completed on time and budget. It all went very smoothly, nicely managed by their project leader. Quality work by a quality team. We highly recommend May Construction for home remodeling.

May construction has done 2 major projects for our home in San Jose and they have helped out with some tricky repairs when needed. One was water damage from rains storms in the dry wall on our 15′ vaulted ceiling in our living room! They were very professional at every step in the construction process from project planning to final inspections. Each subcontractor is carefully vetted so that you know everyone coming in will provide the same quality. If there is a problem, they will work on it until it is fixed to the clients satisfaction; May takes pride in their work and have very high standards for quality. We have been very satisfied with all of the work they have done on our home and will call them in the future when we decide to make any other improvements.

May Construction helped us through every step of a whole-home remodel and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience and the results. They knew the value of careful preparation and planning – and as such everything went very smoothly, on time and on budget. The contractors they brought in for specific jobs (tile, electrical, etc.) were all top notch and performed very high quality work under May’s management. Everybody at May from the front office to back office to the people on site was professional, friendly, effective – and clearly knew their job very well. They were very patient with us in answering every question and addressing every concern regardless of when we reached out. May Construction was familiar to us before we even thought about starting our project. We had seen their previous work and knew this was the company we would use to help us create our forever home. From the first day they really listened to every conversation we had and drew up plans that exceeded our expectations. After that the May Construction Team took care of all stages of the renovation. It was so liberating to be able to trust the team with bringing our vision to life. They stuck very closely to their schedule and we had weekly meetings to stay informed of progress. My favorite part was the fact that they were able to finish our project a few weeks ahead of schedule! Greg, Debbie, Donna, Eric, Troy, Bill, Jerry, Ernie, Allison. Everyone was so wonderful. We hired May Construction in 2014 to do a complete gut/remodel/addition for our home in Los Altos. We took the house down to the studs and replaced all plumbing, electrical, sewer, floors, roof, etc, etc…They provided us with a week by week timeline for the progression of work. At times there were 3-4 trades working on our home at one time to ensure the most efficient use of time possible. Greg from the beginning gave us a very detailed and itemized list for the cost of the project and scope of work, so there were no questions as to what they would or would not be doing. Budget wise, we knew EXACTLY what we would be spending and no “surprise” additional costs many other contractors tend to do. Liz, the designer was patient and always made sure the choices we were making was 100% to our satisfaction. Bill, the project manager communicated every detail with us as things progressed. He also ensured that every detail was fine tuned, even if it meant pulling something out and starting over. If there was not something we were not happy with, they addressed the issue immediately. Our neighbors commented that they were impressed by the lack of noise and debris they expected from a major remodel project. Everyone at May was easily accessible by phone, email, and even text. They were always very responsive with any questions and concerns we would bring up. I would not hesitate to hire May again for our next project.

May Construction performed a complete remodel of the interior of our home and did a fantastic job. A) Within budget B) On schedule C) Quality workmanship P.S.We liked this Contractor’s performance ,so much, that we contracted them again for an add on 300 sq ft Master Bath including a walk in closet. Both of these jobs were rated 5 stars In our opinion. We would hire them again on any future Construction .,,,

I have worked with May Construction four times over many years. Each project was bigger than before culminating in a total house remodel. That project went smoothly from design through the build. Project management was very good from all members of the May team including billing, vendor interface, and site management. The project came in ‘on time and on budget’. Their pricing may appear higher than some but the added value received from their knowledge, professionalism and customer satisfaction is well worth it. I highly recommend May Construction.

May Construction remodeled our kitchen during the summer of 2018. They did an excellent job, always showed up and always returned calls. Making the sink counter deeper than normal and lowering the windows worked out really well.They set us up with a great cabinet supplier who had a lot of good ideas on cabinet features that we really appreciate now that we’ve had time to use the kitchen.
