We originally contacted Diego of DR Exteriors, on a referral from one of our neighbors, to replace the wood siding on our home with Hardie board and batten as we live in a high fire risk area. When Diego came and gave us a bid, he viewed our house from day one as if it were his own home and took special care as he met all of our multiple questions with patience and explained everything thoroughly. Diego was extremely knowledgeable about the best way to achieve what we wanted and needed, and the main reason for that is Diego actually works on his jobs himself as his schedule will allow. He was able to give us detailed information as to how the siding would be installed. When we explained we were also looking to replace all the windows, he said they could take care of it and explained what they could offer. We then asked him if he could suggest someone to do the decks. Guess what he said? Every single thing we needed to update and change on this 45+ year old house could be handled by one contractor! From the siding to the windows to the deck and porch replacements with Trex to the new foundation plaster. We felt that our renovation was going to be handled professionally by his crews and in a timely manner. We could tell immediately that Diego’s integrity and honor about his company were so obvious and felt incredibly relieved that this job would be handled professionally. We had entertained bids from other contractors that had been in business for a long time. They all sent salesmen to give us bids, not actual contractors. We could immediately tell the difference in the lack of knowledge when we asked certain questions of them, as opposed to how Diego responded. Diego sent us a detailed bid, answered any questions, and made any adjustments that we needed. We hired him immediately. Diego didn’t just leave the job to his talented crews, he was right in there with them, and made sure we had a fantastic job boss to communicate with when he couldn’t be there. Every question or request was met immediately with ‘we can do that’ or ‘we’ll take care of that’ which is very rare in this industry. We found Diego, as the owner of DR Exteriors, to be of very high integrity. This kind of attention and professionalism resulted in a problem free renovation. We were looking for a superior result and were impressed as each crew worked diligently and took the time to make sure their work was of the highest quality. Diego made sure that all permits and inspections were performed and gave me copies of everything. Our community is recognized by the National FireWise USA program by completing annual requirements to keep us in good standing and now we can be assured we are in compliance. After 30 years, our whole house has transformed. It has metamorphosed from a possible matchstick into a home we can pass down as a legacy to our grandchildren. We will be utilizing and referring people to Diego and DR Exteriors for any future projects. He’s definitely “our guy!”

Diego transformed my home – some said it is the best looking home in the neighborhood. He is educated and does very high quality work. He is pleasant and so great to deal with and willing to do extra things that were important to me. He is amazing!!

We are so pleased with DR Exteriors. Diego and his crew were able to help us update the exterior of our home and make the necessary changes that I’ve wanted for several years. Diego is very knowledgeable in new construction, remodels and even does window installation. He helped suggest affordable options in order to help me get the look I wanted, for the money I had to spend. The end result is fantastic and gets attention daily from passers-by. We already have plans to use DR Exteriors again with an upcoming garage project.

Diego and his team performed above and beyond our expectations! I had called 5 other contractors, left messages, texts and even emails. NO response from any. I was surprised at the unprofessional lack of response by all I had tried to contact. Then I ran into someone who referred me to Dr. Exteriors. I gave a call and got Diego. He was out the very next day to give a bid for an HOA project. There were a lot of repairs that needed to be done. He was professional and honest, and on point with everything we asked for and needed. He gave us Honest advice on how best to make the repairs. My husband and I were so happy with his work that we went ahead and had other work done separately If you want your job done, and you want it done right, then you need to call Diego at Dr Exteriors. I’m in the real estate business. I was surprised that I was not able to get a hold of some of the big name contractors. They missed out on a lot of repeat business. From here on out… Diego and his team will be my go to team for all exterior repairs and maintenance!!
