These guys ripped off my Mom big time. Messed up multiple parts. At first promised to fix problems, then backed out. She’s 70+ years old, and no way to remedy other than to hire a lawyer. This project started 2 years ago, still not done correctly. Pathetic. One star is too kind.

Bearded Builders turned our creepy 100-year-old unfinished Dundee basement into an entire additional level of cozy, bright, and functional living space and we will be forever grateful! The craftsmanship is top notch — not only are they highly skilled but the beards truly care about the work they do and it shows. The character and integrity of Eric and the team are so hard to find in the construction industry – honest, transparent, and true to their word. No project is without hiccups and ours was no exception, but the extensive amount of pre-planning avoids a LOT of those, and when issues do come up, they are dealt with professionally and with as much transparency as possible. They are organized, the communication is great, and they listened to our wants and needs before and during the project and took any feedback or thoughts we had once things got underway and always addressed any questions or concerns. We have worked with several other local contractors and this experience exceeded all others by far. They were not the least expensive bid for the project by any means, but I have no doubt were the right choice – you really do get what you pay for. Our lead contractor Tedd felt like family by the end of the project — we miss seeing the team regularly and think about them often as we enjoy our new space. We love Bearded Builders and will be back for our next project, which knowing us won’t be too far away 😉

Over two years later and we are still loving our custom kitchen that Bearded Builders designed and created for our family. For us, our kitchen is our gathering spot. We are so thankful that we now have a bright, functional, beautiful and spacious area to congregate! Although gutting and building a new room from scratch is not ideal, the BB craftsmen were so enjoyable and made the process fun! I would highly recommend Bearded Builders.

I highly recommend Bearded Builders. They’re very professional, responsive and do extremely high quality work. They did a whole house remodel for us in 2019. Eric and his team listened to everything we asked for and delivered the vision perfectly. Totally love the work they did in every way.

I knew we needed an update to our kitchen.! Actually doing it seemed overwhelming. Bearded Builders made it easy. Once you establish a budget, a designer helps you create the kitchen you want/or can afford. They help you every step of the way! The crew who actually do the work are on time, work hard all day and keep the area as neat/clean as is possible.! The whole team is very responsive to questions and updates as needed.If I need anything else done, I will use Bearded Builders.

We were looking to remodel our kitchen and stated our budget of $125k clearly upfront. The final bid came in at $190k. We were absolutely not going to spend that and declined the bid. We never received a response back, there was no attempt at negotiation. They took our $1600 to create a design and never spoke with us again. We didn’t even get to keep the design. And the owner smelled like weed when we met with him. Unprofessional.
