I am a General Contractor in North County San Diego and we have used D.K Shower Pans many, many times in fact they are the only company we use for Hot Mop. Their work is good, all the people I have spoke with on the phone and the technicians who have come out have all been knowledgeable, responsible and courteous. They leave the areas clean and warranty all the work they do.

I would NOT recommend using this company. The first day, they arrived over an hour late after missing their first scheduled window. They did not contact us and we had to call them. They gave us the run around the first visit, saying the job was not ready, then came back a second time and did the same. They delayed our shower project by a week and had very poor communication on what we needed to complete so that they WOULD do the job. I would use a company that is more reliable and straightforward. We will NOT use this company again.

DK shower pans did not correctly hot mop my shower pan the first time and had to be called back to re-mop it. When I talked to the receptionist she didn’t believe me and said that they were going to charge me to come back out. I put my plumber on the phone and they quickly realized that the problem was on their end. The manager said that it is really hard to hot mop a 4 bolt shower drain, and that I should have gotten a 3 bolt one. Well nowhere on their website does it recommend this, also Home depot and Lowes only sell a 4 bolt drain, meaning that most home owners who don’t inspect the pan after DK leaves will have a leaking pan that is “no longer under warranty once someone sets foot in it”. Expensive $250 hot mop and their employee barely spoke English.
