We chose BDS for our kitchen/mudroom project after a referral from friends. BDS proved to be an excellent firm for craftsmanship, professionalism, and honesty. They are also the rare renovation firm that reliably manages schedule and budget. As a bonus, they are really nice people! We are loving our new kitchen and mudroom.

We have used BDS for two separate projects on our home and have greatly enjoyed the process from start to finish each time. The first project involved mainly cosmetic updates to several areas throughout our home while the second project entailed the addition of a 3 season room and updating hardscaping. Both projects were seamless throughout and you could not ask for a better team than the group at BDS. Not only do they have great ideas to turn your vision into reality but also communicate extremely well, are receptive to feedback, and keep an eye on all of the details throughout the process. If you are in the process of selecting a company for your next project there really is no need to look any further. We highly recommend BDS!

I am so appreciative of the BDS team for their exceptional work on our kitchen remodel. As first-time homeowners, we had a clear vision of what we wanted, and finding a team that could bring it to life was crucial. From the outset, Bryan, Andrea, Jon, and the rest of the team surpassed all our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the results. After interviewing several prospective contractors, my husband and I were certain that working with Bryan and Andrea was the perfect choice. Andrea and I had numerous discussions and meetings to ensure that my vision was translated accurately. The BDS team paid meticulous attention to every picture, drawing, and step of the process, making any necessary tweaks or adjustments with remarkable ease. Jon, who was present on-site daily, impressed us with his keen eye for detail and his talents, especially when he crafted my beautiful cookbook wall. I recently had the pleasure of working with BDS Design Build Remodel for a complete renovation of my first floor of my home. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to the professionalism and expertise of the team. One thing that really impressed me was the attention to detail and the level of care that the team put into every aspect of the project. They took before and daily pictures of the work and uploaded them to their app, along with weekly progress meetings. This level of communication was fantastic and really put my mind at ease throughout the entire process. I also cannot wait to see the professional photographs they took once the final project was complete. I’m sure they will do justice to the exceptional work that was done on my home. The team was always on time, courteous, and respectful of my home. They took great care to minimize any disruption and were always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had. We hired the team at BDS to transform our basement from a ho-hum space into the highlight of our home. We now have a dedicated home gym and theater along with a kitchenette, full bathroom and an area for lounging. Bryan and his team took our basic ideas and turned them into a space that we use multiple times a day and enjoy sharing with friends and family. John and Mike were terrific at managing the project and kept us well informed about the schedule and workflow. Andrea was wonderful to work with on the design end suggesting finishes and details that match our tastes perfectly. We were also happy with the professionalism of the subcontractors and the quality of their work. Overall, we are very pleased with the results and plan to hire BDS again for future remodeling projects in our home.

BDS was a pleasure to work with. We remodeled of our first floor, focusing on painting the kitchen/bar cabinets, refinishing existing hardwood floors, painting walls/ceiling and updating the banisters/spindles. They handled everything and made the process as simple for us as possible.

Working with BDS has been the best experience we have had with a contractor (we have built two homes, built an addition, and renovated two times prior with others.) BDS communicated clearly and thoroughly at each step. We were away but the communication via call, text, email, build app and FaceTime was impeccable and easy. They worked with us to enclose a vaulted ceiling, install a light for that dining area and then create a larger master bath and closet en suite upstairs. They guided with selections of light, plumbing, hardware, flooring, cabinets and closets. They allowed us to choose our look. Bryan checked the site frequently and John was there every day. They kept the site neat and safe during COVID-19 too. All the subcontractors were very respectful towards our family when we were there and to our neighbors. I cannot say enough great things about the high quality and professionalism at BDS; a true joy to work with.

I only had an introductory call with Bryan, but he was so friendly and informative that I wanted to share my experience. Bryan was responsive, answered all my questions, and clearly understands the process and importance of a home remodel. Plus, their blog posts are incredibly helpful, so definitely check them out.
