Renovations are not the easiest. We recently renovated our main floor with master on the main. Knocked out walls, took things in two of the rooms to bare studs and subfloor. Rerouted plumbing, gas and electric. The general contractors and subs are very busy right now (mid 2021). Renovations are not as high priority as new construction, where a sub is working on multiple units. New construction is booming and they are running from job to job. Despite the challenges, McCamy Construction tapped a stellar group of subcontractors that did amazing work and provided creative solutions to some tricky fixes needed. Ashley Jones, their chief design consultant blends an excellent sense of style and functionality in her design suggestions with efficiency in the way she goes about your business. If you have a problem, she doesn’t bother with explanations or excuses. She just handles it. And her design recommendations are classically beautiful. She is usually right about how things are going to look together. Ben Davenport, our project superintendent, keeps the work moving and does some of the smaller tasks himself to keep things moving. At the finish, he’s there volunteering to help install any little things, pictures, etc. You get the feeling he’s always thinking of your project and he is. These people are always polite and the final result is just classically beautiful. Just look at some of the pictures on their website, facebook and Pinterest pages. It’s real, folks. I know.
