Wow!!!!! First Impressions is by far the best for home renovations. My plan was to renovate the kitchen and the floors through out the house. Paul, the owner, gained my trust instantly with his professional and personable manner. Paul was by my side throughout the entire process. For example, he brought me to the flooring store where he assisted me with picking the flooring with the best quality that would work for my home. Everyday, Paul showed up to the house and checked on progress and addressed anything that needed attention. Paul said everything would be done in 4 weeks. After seeing how well the renovations were going, I kept adding additional things to be done including a large beautiful built in for my den which has become the favorite room in the house. Everything was completely finished in 4 weeks. The crew showed up everyday on time. They were respectful, clean and helped out with extra things where needed. I have dealt with tons of construction companies and never had this exceptional experience. After working with Paul, I now consider him and First Impressions part of my family. Thank you to everyone from First Impressions.

Paul and his team have been amazing from the start. As I was shopping around for prices for a few home projects (including full residing, living room and total bathroom renovation), Paul gave me the fairest price along with the best customer service. He’s available via phone and text all day and checks in on the house as the work is being done to make sure there are no issues. I loved working with First Impressions and will be using them again for my basement renovation!

We hired First Impressions to do extensive work based on a friend’s recommendation to remodel our entire main living level. That included a full modernization of our fireplace/mantel/new TV (the focal point of our greatroom); the kitchen – countertops, backsplash, oven, farm sink, rangehood, and a brand new updated island with a wine fridge. We also completely re did our powder room (gutted to the studs.) We absolutely enjoyed working with First Impressions. From our lead contact Frank (who answered every call or text – thank you Frank!) – to the team doing the work, they were fussy over the fit/finish, and overall quality – so we didn’t have to worry. They all worked so hard – and were so friendly and focused. We made a few errors in our design (our fault), that the team rolled with – and adjusted for us as needed. We were even having trouble visualizing a new cabinet we wanted installed (in the Kitchen) – and they built for us a full sized mockup that was so incredibly helpful (and completely unexpected.) I have always been a skeptic of contractors – but I’m so happy to say this team went above and beyond – from day one – to completion. I find this sort of work stressful, and they did a terrific job making it really pleasant (and dare I say fun?) We are really happy – and appreciate the transformation that we’ll enjoy for years to come.

I contracted with First impressions for a nearly $200,000 project. Unfortunately, the contractors they choose to hire out and how they manage those contractors is absolutely horrendous. I signed a contract in 2021. It is now September 2023 and the contract has still not been completed

I was hoping to use this company for other projects in the future. The workmen were skilled and were able to work around all of the mistakes my project manager made. Measurements were taken incorrectly at least 3 times. There was no communication. Phone calls and texts were not returned. I was completely blown off by my project manager so he could work in a larger project. He had told me initially the job would take @8 days. It took @3 months because of his mistakes. I would never use this company again. Owner still hasn’t returned my call.

After missing their appointment for a consult, I decided to call. I was told that the owner was supposed to call me to give me the estimate over the phone. There is no way any company can give a proper estimate without seeing the the space. I’m going be be needing a new kitchen next year, guess whom I’m not going to call. Despicable the way people run their companies. I had to organize my day so I can meet with them, trying to give a local company some business.

First Impressions did a beautiful job with remodeling my parents home. The owner Paul gave great ideas, and the end result was better than expected. We would definitely recommend this company as they are honest, and reliable. Thank you to everyone here!!

Terrible company! They messed up every single aspect of the project from not meeting deadlines (4 months instead of 5 weeks) to clogging a drain with garbage being thrown down the sewer. Construction crews weren’t professional at all and made tons of mistakes so we had to fight over every single detail to make them fix it. As of communication with the owner Paul – lies, empty promises and ignorance describe him very well. They ended up leaving our project disregarding multiple mandatory touch ups. Our attempts to reach out were ignored. They ultimately ended the project with a nail puncturing a waterline (which is still inside) which caused a massive leak over time. I would not recommend this company!
