Dodson is different from the very beginning and that’s the best thing about them. I’ve never worked with a contractor with as much care, forethought, and integrity as Dodson. From the very first meeting with Peter I could tell that they were the ones for the job. They were the only contractor that’s standard was to do full floor plan and modeling renderings before moving forward. And coming from an engineering/construction background myself, that was exactly what my wife and I needed to put our minds at ease. David and Shelbi were so helpful in our design process and we’re flexible as our needs changed/fluctuated at times. Once construction started, having Michael, Luis, Angie and other team members in our home everyday was really enjoyable and our pets were always so excited to see them every time they came through the door. If you’re looking for the cheapest contractor, they may not be for you. BUT if you’re looking for a team to help you get the job done RIGHT and help/walk with you through what can be a very overwhelming adventure then these are your people and they’ll make you feel like family in the process. Dobson Builders Construction has my highest recommendation.

What started out as updating our kitchen turned into a whole house remodel. We basically took the inside of the house down to bare walls. We really liked the design process. Once the design was done, we met with our designer once a week to pick things out. One time it might be appliances and the next might be flooring. Because of the scope of the project, it took about 6 months from start of design to start of construction. It was nice not to be rushed and overwhelmed by the decisions that had to be made. Dodson accommodated our wish to stay in the house during the remodel. They split the process into two phases by doing half the house at a time while we lived in the other half. All the people who came into the house were nice and courteous and cleaned up at the end of the day. There were problems and one was major in my opinion but when pointed out were corrected. We are extremely satisfied with the results.

We recently had our kitchen and family room remodeled by Dodson Builders Construction. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the first meeting with Peter, we knew clearly what to expect. David and Shelbi guided us through the design phase with their expertise but also taking into consideration of our likes and dislikes to make the vision of our new space into reality. The crew members were wonderful and considerate, always willing to answer our questions. Norman kept us updated everyday of the project progress. He always responded promptly to our questions. Lisa was in frequent contact with us to see if we had any concern. Peter and his team made what could have been a stressful project a smooth experience. We would highly recommend Peter and his team.

Let me just start off by saying that we met with several other contractors before we started our project. Those other contractors did not leave us with a good sense that they would be able to complete our project to the level of our expectations. Cheap work is not quality and quality work is not cheap. Peter and the rest of the Dodson team are top quality in every aspect of the construction industry. From planning and design, all through the construction phase, and even now, Peter and his team took great care of us and our home. I am extremely happy with the quality of work that was done and the trust that was built during the process is unwavering. If we had any questions or concerns, Norman and Lisa were there to answer our call. Peter and his team went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Dodson Builders has my utmost recommendation: from planning to execution, the entire process was professional and enjoyable. They listened to my wants and needs, and implemented each need with the perfect touch of functionality and personality. The owner, Peter, and Mike were extremely communicative and I always knew what was going on and what to expect. Luiz was like a house guest when in my home working, curious and friendly. They sought out new lighting alternatives that would best fit my needs as a visually impaired man, and went the extra mile to make sure all my needs were met. They were always timely, and my and daughter and I felt completely comfortable having them here working. I highly recommend.

Our experience with Dodson Construction was amazing!!! It began with Lisa, who really put this together with our very first phone call. She took the time and explained the process to someone who didn’t know anything about this. Just had a great conversation with her, and honestly didn’t feel like calling anyone else. We met Peter and Annie soon after and they were just as amazing as well. After about 3/4 months, we finalized everything and then we met Max and his team. I have to say it!! They were amazing too!! Max runs a team that is professional, courteous and love what they do. They provided us with feedback based on their knowledge about what they were doing. They also had several moments where they exceeded our expectations. Max and Peter looked after this project as if this was their own home. Lisa’s follow ups during the project were great, we appreciated how much they valued our feedback. The project ended better than it began. We felt we got more than we purchased. We hear bad stories about contractors and we are so happy that we found a team that we can count on and trust. This was supposed to be a one project thing for us, but are already working with them on more ideas. Lisa, Annie, David, Max, Luis, Francisco, Matt, Max Jr and Peter! You are an amazing group!! Our family just completed an extensive kitchen remodel with Dodson Builders Construction. What a great experience we had with this company from the first phone call to their office to our completed kitchen. What makes this company unique is their in-house designers and contractors that work with you from start to finish….they brought good ideas to the table and were great listeners. The entire company is professional, friendly and bring a positive attitude into your home. We cannot recommend them enough, our kitchen turned out beautiful. Thank You Dodson Construction.
