We highly recommend Hivex basement. Figuring out how to finish our basement was very overwhelming for us. We were so glad that we chose Hivex. The Hivex team is very professional, amenable, and responsive to our needs. They handled everything from the quote, permits, construction, county inspection, etc. The quality of work the Hivex team did throughout this made this daunting project from the very start a smooth and seamless process. When designing a basement they will be always changes, special shout-out to John Gaskill, Hivex project manager, he guided us through the design, all the changes, recommendations, and went over and above in leading to give us a finished basement that we truly a very happy with. All this within two months from start to finish.

We had been thinking for years about finishing our basement, and with the expected costs, I thought I could do it myself…. two years later, and only 1/3 framed in, it was evident I was never going to be able to complete the job. We had a neighbor suggest Hivex, we contacted them and they were happy to provide a quote. The entire quoting process was very pleasant, easy and simple. Finance options were laid out with great rates and terms. We got 2 other quotes, but felt much more confident in the Hivex information provided. Did the research into the company and was also pleasantly surprised at the reviews and BBB rating. We signed the contract in Dec ’22, had a start date Jan 29, 2024 and within a few weeks, our basement was just about finished! We were able to make some adjustments along the way (tiled shower, network locations, and lighting) without any hassle. The entre project schedule was fed to us through email and text, so we knew what to expect. Each crew member was polite and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the process from start to completion! Christopher and his team completed a renovation of an 8×11 space in our basement that we wanted to convert into a home office. They were prompt and professional throughout our project, with great communication throughout. Christopher had ideas for the project and the end result was better than we could have expected.
