Had Dunwrong complete my basement 15 years ago. Unfortunately his partner passed away between completion and the time I had a complaint. This was only a few month span. I had moisture on the lower part of the wall after the job, something I didnt have before the job. He started going off on how does he know I didnt have it before, he didnt quote it his partner did. After a screaming match he did nothing except add chad board in a few places where I had moisture. I wanted the whole thing redone at the floor with board and he complained about the cost of concrete. That leads to now when I broke out the floor to find my new driantile filled with roots at the weep holes from the outside drain tile. Talked to another contractor who said they wrap the holes at the hole they cut in the drain tile with landscape fabric. So I’m redoing after 15 years on my own. THANKS DUN WRONG!

Good workmanship, very competitive price point. Small, family-run business. When we needed additional drain tile work done after the initial job, they came out promptly to complete the work. I appreciated how clean they left the job site. I would recommend Dun Rite.

Tom recently did an $8500 job for me and his workers did a great job. So why did I give one star you ask? While Tom’s workers did great, Tom has the customer satisfaction problems over the smallest of issues. He has questionable tactics and tries to twist definitions of the contract. Question anything, and you will see find a scary side of Tom, one with a temper and not willing to make the customer happy without a fight. I treat contractors with the greatest respect as long as they respect me and not try to pull any fast moves. There is not a single contract I ever signed that I did not pay more than was quoted. EVER. Case in point. I paid Tom $500 more than the next highest bid adding only a $100 dryer vent to close the deal because I liked him. He was the nice local guy who lived only 1/2 mile from my home. Once Tom’s work was inspected however, it was found he miscalculated and was one beam short. Tom asked that I pay an extra $175 for this beam, on top of the already overpaid. I declined and our relationship fell off the cliff. Every call thereafter was tension filled because he felt I got something for free. Upon completion, I found a large pile of insulation removed and placed on the floor. A 5 minute job to replace 20-25 16″ bats into the small box area they came from. Well, Tom argued those were obstructions and I am responsible for them. I made some calls to get the facts and found this type of insulation is considered material and should be replaced when the job is complete. Were is hard foam, part of a wall, or shelving for example…that is an obstruction. Obstructions are also typically something contractors will charge to remove and/or replace. Not the case here. Tom agreed to replace the insulation over the phone but upon arrival he wanted to be paid before he touched it. I said no. Complete the job before I pay. Tom erupted and threw away ALL of the insulation. It took the same amount of time, but Tom enjoyed slamming every door possible and leaving an absolute mess behind for me to clean up. I have Tom on video throwing the insulation around in my garage, captured on my car dash cam. The video cannot be denied and its why I posted this detailed feedback because it cannot be disputed.

I got my estimate through Tom, he was very thorough and went through everything with me. I needed a few beams and drain tile work done. His employees were super nice hard working guys! I haven’t had no leaking since! I would highly recommend this company!
