I used Heritage Contracting Corp. For a major home remodel. While I love my home, and respectfully feel Dean’s design inspiration and overall architecture vision are quite unmatched, his customer service and insulting behavior towards me requires that I warn potential customers of what I went through. During my kitchen remodel, I replaced a screen door. When the door came in, Dean’s crew drilled the holes on the wrong side, rendering it useless. I covered the $485.05 charge for a new one because I felt bad for the installer. When I asked Dean to send his crew back to fix unsightly drywall edges they left exposed, and to neaten up the ceiling where the vent hood went through, after his crew finished, I discovered that they cracked my beautiful new kitchen counter by the sink, then hid it by covering it with a rag. I texted Dean about the discovery, and he immediately texted me back that his crew didn’t mention that they broke anything, and said he would investigate. He ultimately backed his crew, and had the same crew member that drilled the wrong holes in my $485.05 door, give me a signed statement that he “didn’t work near the sink, or the area that was cracked.” Please note: the signed statement failed to say he didn’t crack my counter! Dean went through a lot of trouble to back his crew in their denial of my cracked counter. Neither he nor I were there, and the only people in my home, in my kitchen, for repairs that day were Dean’s crew. The quartz repair cost me $300.00. Dean refused to cover it.
