Last spring and summer we underwent a massive renovation. The contractor we hired had Tito Painting in Dunellen, NY to paint the portion that was under contract with him, and the rest of the house had to be painted. We hired him for the remainder of the home. Because of the massive amount of work that needed to be done and because I have a very large dog, I was more focused on keeping everyone safe than looking at the quality of the work. Here is what they did not do: They did not caulk anything They did not prime They only added one coat of paint on the wall. There are places where you can see the old color underneath the new color. There is not one even line anywhere. They did not use painters tape. They use brushes rather than rollers, and there are brushstrokes everywhere. There are splatters of specks of paint on windows. I gave him a spreadsheet, outlining the color for each location and the trim for each room. I also provided him samples of the paint color. Even with that, he put the wrong trim color in our master bathroom. You can’t make this stuff up! When I tell you Tito is the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. It is an understatement. When the last payment was due, $1,200 I wrote him out a check as I had done previously three times. He came back to my house and told me that I had no money in my account. Then he asked me to write out another check to him so he could put in his personal bank . I did it and a few days later, if the check cashed. While the workers were here in my home, I provided them with snacks, water, and Gatorade because I wanted to be appreciative. I question his character to say the least. Because the house is now settling, I am going to wait another year to address this. I will have to have the entire house repainted. I gave him almost $12,000 and the reason I decided to write this review was to let anyone know who is reading it to do not allow this man in your home. I am confident that the reviews that are there are probably people that he knows or they are not real. When you meet him you will understand what I’m saying. If I could’ve given him, zero, stars, I would have. Beware! Run away from Tito Painting!

I would definitely use them again! I bought a house and I had old paint and hard wood floor Tito’s give an estimate. And I agree Finish the job as promised Thanks guys

Freddy and his crew were recommended to us by a friend who had used them for a bathroom renovation. Our friend showed us pictures of their completed bathroom. It looked so good. We had Freddy come over to give us an estimate. We needed to gutt the bathroom right down to the studs, remove the tub, replace an old window, and install a walkin shower. I’ve been in construction for close to 30 years, so I can tell if someone knows what they are talking about or not. Freddy answered all our questions with all the right answers. He definitely knows his business well. His price and time frame were also just what my wife and I were expecting. And his crew delivered on both. On time and on price. His whole crew treated our home with respect. Plastic was draped from the ceiling with painters tape forming a walkway from the front door to the bathroom and painters tarps were put down to protect the floors. Each day the plastic was rolled up and taped in place and the tarps taken up and floors cleaned. There was no dust anywhere in my house at anytime during the project. My wife only wishes I worked that neat. Any concerns or questions I had were answered right away, and any added blocking or framing that I asked for in the walls for futures projects was taken care of that day. We couldn’t be any happier with the final results. The bathroom looks exactly as we had envisioned it. I can’t say enough good things about Freddy, Miguel, Tony and Abe. And Alfonso did an Amazing job with the tile. We used Big, 60 x 30 inch tiles, which are no simple task to work with. They came out perfect. And any mess was cleaned up each and every day. Never did it look like a construction site. Total respect. The pictures represent the before, during and after. Judge for yourself. I’m already planning my next project for these guys. Thanks Freddy. Freddy did an amazing job at my home. He was always on time, he has a whole crew that can tackle any job and they are very thorough. From painting to installing new flooring, tile in my kitchen and bathroom, he can do it all. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him in the future for any work that I would need done on my home. Thank you Freddy!
