Paradigm did an amazing job for my wife and I at our Eagle Property. Their crew showed up on time, cleaned up every night and the quality of their construction was great. I priced many of their bids out myself and I couldn’t be happier with their reasonable pricing. I love the cost plus model they work from because we know where every penny goes. I would highly recommend Paradigm for both new construction and remodels! Matt and Jim were referred to us through a friend who built a very large property with them in Eagle and they couldn’t be happier with the end results.

We bought a lot in Creighton Woods, Eagle, ID to build our home. Would invite you to Pause and think before you decide to engage Paradigm to build your home or any builder. We now realize that we needed a builder that aligned with our vision and what we wanted in our home. We could write a book about our experience on truly what it’s like being on other side of the coin as the one paying to put up their dream home. How you go into the process of trusting the builder you hired is looking out for you as their client, to only feel taken advantage of by the one that should be in your corner. With a little bit of wisdom now after learning from this process, our experience can save you thousands on what not to do when working with these builders. (Hast to be a business here to prevent these builders from doing this to honest families / clients) It would be our pleasure to share what we have learned in the process of working with Paradigm to build a semi custom home for a custom home cost. The comments below from “Deer Hunter” is spot on. The one positive is that Jim was excellent to work with ( when he was onsite) and a genuinely good guy. The problem with Jim, is he says “yes to many times before it starts to catch up to him” and you have to ride him to get anything done. These builders will never care the way you care. Don’t feel that you ever owe them an explanation of what your expectations are in building your home. Remember they work for you and it’s not the other way around. We still have a punch out list open and now it’s been 3 months past our 1 year of living in the home. Text Jim, no response, ghosting us. When we do get him to respond he tells us “ oh yeah, no problem” and is never consistent on the work, timing, or item being called out for repair or the work needing to be done. We have had to start paying for subs to complete the punch out items on top of Paradigm’s payment already. They will take your money and leave you nothing behind, except a bag of items that need addressed. They’re great at pointing the finger and deflecting to hold themselves and their subs accountable to the work performed. Again, happy to cash your checks, but fail to own the outcome of their subs workmen-ship. Suggestion, Hold back $50K until your 1 year and punch out list is completed (write that into your contract with the builder) talk is cheap, get it in writing ✍️ . This way they have skin in the game or you have money to complete what they didn’t. Their word is hollow. I tried to put my number but Google won’t publish my review. Don’t settle. Truly a disheartening experience to know that you want to sell your home and start over. We were told by Matt (one of the partners at Paradigm) that we didn’t have to build with him as we were told we had to use 1 of the 5 builders selected in the neighborhood. Matt was right on one thing, we should have took him up on that and walked away. When your gut says “walk” Or this “isn’t right”, trust it and do it! It may be hard, but the hard in all of this working with Paradigm is that we have a house that can be fixed, but they put us in a poor spot and threw us the keys! Welcome home!

We purchased a Paradigm Home in Eagle, Idaho. We are very pleased with the building quality and the craftsmanship. Our elevator feature is a great thought for our parents visiting. Everything works amazing and the paradigm owners (Matt) are so attentive that anytime we’ve had a small issue they take care of it. I’m a busy professional, in my opinion Paradigm is the best builder in the greater Boise/Eagle area.

My advice. Knock on some doors of homes they have built and ask someone how they liked dealing with these guys. From poor construction management to being blindsided with outrageous rip off bills from there sub contractors to poor quality work having to be fixed by other companies. I would never recommenced this company.

Outstanding experience from beginning to end with Paradigm Construction Company. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and the customer service from start to finish. Every step of the way both Jim and Matt were upfront, honest, hardworking and dedicated. Though they are one of the busiest top quality builders in the valley, we always felt like we were their number one priority. The contractors that choose to work with this group are at the top of their game and were professional, clean, and true experts in their trade. We can’t wait to build with them again.

I have personally worked with Matt and Jim on several builds. They are always available to meet and discuss any issues that may arise from a build. They have excellent customer service. I have seen Jim on the job sites every day guiding the subs and speaking with the home owners. I trust them 100% to get the job done correctly.
