Simply put, Beautiful Basements did an incredible job with transforming our vision into a reality! It all started with our initial consultation with Dan. When he presented us with a first draft of the layout, it was clear he listened to our ideas, wants, and needs. We were impressed with the level of detail he provided, including accurate blueprints, an organized and thorough bill of materials that would be used for the project, and a full cost breakdown. We greatly appreciated this transparent approach. Our project team – Jensen (our awesome project leader), Jonny, Devin, Kris, and Fred – were a great crew to complete the project. They were always willing to answer any questions we had, and always encouraged us to walk through to see how progress was coming along. They were very respectful of the working environment, being sure to clean up after each day on the project. Outside of the high level of workmanship they demonstrated during the project, they also brought the perfect blend of professional yet personable attitudes each day. It was awesome to get to know such a great team throughout the few months we worked with them. There were a number of interior design choices that felt overwhelming (e.g., flooring options, paint color themes, finishes & fixtures), but Ashley made the process painless! She was amazing to work with, and consistently went the extra mile to bring additional options to us, provide recommendations where needed, and stay in constant communication with us. The design work and overall aesthetic brought an already amazing project to the next level and furthered the “wow” factor. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the entire team at Beautiful Basements. From bringing our vision to life through an amazing and top-quality basement product, to keeping us informed of key milestones and always being available to answer questions, it was an amazing experience working with Beautiful Basements. We highly recommend their business.

We used Beautiful Basements and we are so thrilled with the final results of our basement. We had 4 different contractors come out to quote our project and Beautiful Basements was very competitively priced compared to other companies. The owner, Dan was very knowledgeable, honest and executed our vision for the basement. He gave us a clear timeline of how long the project would take and was great at communicating and keeping us in the loop. They also had an interior designer on the team to help us select paint colors and flooring (we didn’t know this was included in the quote and was a great added bonus). During the construction, the job site was meticulously cleaned at the end of the day and all the workers were extremely courteous and respectful and I felt safe having them there even with small children in the house. The main guy working our job site was Jon. He was so nice and did an amazing job with all the little details and was extremely professional. Overall the process was very smooth and the result was awesome. The attention to detail was amazing and our basement turned out better than expected! Thank you Beautiful Basements!

Beautiful Basements is a good company to work with. You know all of your cost up front with no surprises. Comparable and better prices than others. Dan responds quickly and stays in communication throughout. Everyone who worked in our house was friendly and skilled. Fred, Devin, Jensen, and Jonny did excellent work and we enjoyed having them in the house. Ashley was helpful with choosing colors and styles. The work was done in the promised time frame, which was not something we had experienced with other contractors. Fred and Jonny even came back and helped with the unexpected problem of getting our couch to fit through the door by taking off the trim. Overall, a good experience and we are happy with the result.

Dan was one of several contractors that came to look at our basement. He was very professional and knowledgeable and my husband and I liked him immediately. His quote was very detailed and with it he provided proof that he was licensed, bonded and insured. I am not sure how Dan would have described our basement that day, but in my opinion it was a pit, a challenging pit. My husband had completely demolished the finished side-ceiling, walls, fireplace bricks and ripped up the carpet. Our home is old, so the foundation is clay tiles and we have knob and tube wiring. In addition our home has a center chimney, which sunk sometime after construction, 80 years ago. All floors slope toward the chimney and in the basement it is impossible to make the ceiling level. Despite all this, Don, Fred and Jonny turned our pit into a beautiful, functional living space. We have new windows and walls, a lovely plank ceiling, improved lighting, a door to the utility side that actually closes and a fabulous tile job (thanks Don), that makes the fireplace a focal point. During the entire process communication was excellent. Work had to be stopped several times due to other work that needed to be done in the basement, and Dan could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend Beautiful Basements. You will not be disappointed.

I am truly thankful that I met Dan and chose his company to finish our basement. When I first met Dan, he was so professional and genuine. His quote was so detailed and transparent. The whole process was smooth and his whole team was amazing- Ashley, Fred and Don. They were also the most reasonably priced among the other 4 companies that we reached out to for quotes. We love our basement, and we highly recommend their team!

Wow! We love our new basement space! Beautiful Basements did an amazing job for us. It’s hard to find words to describe how pleased we are with the job they did for us. Included was a beautiful new full bathroom and new higher windows to improve the view to the outside and to let in more light. It doesn’t feel like a basement anymore, but like another living room. The guys doing the work quickly became our friends. They arrived punctually every day during the construction period and were very diligent. They made sure they were doing everything exactly as we wanted. Every afternoon when they left they cleaned up meticulously. A continuous timeline of work was adhered to. Plumbers, electricians and inspectors all showed up promptly, so there were no wasted days. Everything was as Dan had promised us, only better. Dan and Ashley stopped over frequently to make sure we were pleased and satisfied. Ashley helped us so much in picking out our flooring, paint and bathroom fixtures. Without her it would have been a tough task, but thanks to her advice and suggestions, the process was very easy and enjoyable. The cost was lower or at least in line with other quotes we obtained, but I doubt we could have gotten the same quality from anybody but Beautiful Basements. I highly recommend this company.

Dan Ringer and Beautiful Basements did a fantastic job with our basement project. It was a full finish of a large, rough basement in a 96-year-old house, including a finished den, a laundry/utility space, and a separate space for a woodshop, and not only did it turn out great, but it was done in just a few short weeks. The workers were very friendly and arrived promptly every workday. Dan is very knowledgeable and knew exactly which questions to ask to make our vision a reality. Wholeheartedly recommended for anyone in the area.

Deciding on which company to redo our basement was a huge decision. This decision is not something we took lightly. After researching multiple places for over a year and getting many quotes, we selected Beautiful Built Basement. We finished roughly ⅔ of our basement, with carpet and a laundry room. I read the many positive reviews so I felt confident in our selection, and they offered mid level pricing. After coming out to get an estimate, Dan (the owner) emailed us a proposal fairly quickly. We moved forward and we got an extremely detailed transparent plan. Each material was listed, and included a description and the prices. We ended up asking my husband’s father, who does construction, if everything was accurate and of high quality. Looking at the price list and total cost of every single item, including labor, secured our decision. They offer broken-down online payments which are very convenient and easy to pay through the website. We booked them for the job, which started about 4 months later. They had an opening for the summer so we were able to get squeezed in. They stated that our project would take around 3.5 weeks to complete. My main draw to this company was that they are professional workers at all times. I was a little worried, because we have a 1.5 year old who takes naps throughout the day. My son had no issues sleeping during the time that they were here. Each morning, on time, Don and Chris would say “Hello” to him and he would “help” them set up the tarps upstairs. They are not a typical construction company. They were acutely aware of when they were walking in and out of the house and mindful of closing the basement and front door. If they had to leave a door open, they would ask each time to make sure no child, or animal could escape. If they wanted to smoke, they did that in their car or far away outside. No cigarette buds were left outside. Music was kept to a minimum, and each day the work site was cleaned up for the next day. I appreciate that because our cats basically live in the basement and making sure they could not get into anything was a priority and a safety concern. On top of cleaning each day, we would walk down stairs with them to see the progress. We were able to address any concerns or questions at that time. They welcomed us down stairs and continuously asked us to share feedback. When they were done, they would remove the tarps, and review the plan for the next day. The precision with their work is top notch, and now our basement is something we can show off to friends and family. The hallway was half finished leading down into the basement. Unfortunately, the company that built our house did not take time or consideration with that part of the house. So Don and Chris fixed up the dents in the hallway that were undetected by us, and the rough edges of wood on the staircase. They made sure all the drop down ceiling tiles were perfect and had the same edging length. The white trim was spot on. We made some minor adjustments later on, by adding a few outlets, which were easily accommodated into their plan. Dan quickly responded to any accommodation. Having some flexibility was beneficial to the success of our basement. We wanted to complete the final painting, so we asked to have a weekend to achieve this. They were able to do some workarounds and provide us enough time to finish the painting. We wanted to add carpet to the basement, because we have children and pets. Their designer came out to help us to select from the many choices. We used the carpet swatch, placed it in the correct lighting, and looked at it in response to the painted walls.

My experience with Beautiful Built Basements was tremendous. It started with Dan coming by the house so we could look at the basement, here what plans I had for it, and use his vast knowledge for suggestions. He listened to my ideas and answered every question I had. Then he quickly got a floorplan over to me with a quote. Everything looked good and we set a date for when his crew could start. The crew started right on time with no delays. Don was amazing to work with. He would check in with me whenever something came up that might seem strange. The steps to the basement were not straight, so he explained to me what he’d be doing to fix it since it wasn’t something that is normally done. Whenever I came home from work everyday, the basement was spotless. They would clean up every little bit of mess that was made that day. I was shocked, I was expecting a construction site down there but it was clean. If there were any hiccups along the way, it wasn’t because of Don and his crew it was a supplier issue. They finished on time and our basement looks great. I would highly recommend Beautiful Built Basements to anyone looking to get their basement finished.

We have a 50s ranch and we knew going in we weren’t providing an ideal canvas for them to do their thing. That being said, we are beyond thrilled with their quality of work and the finished product. We spend more time in the basement than the main living space now. The entire team was great to work with too. You could tell our satisfaction was their only goal. Definitely recommend.
