Wow, so many issues with this company. They were hired to tear down an existing sun room and build a new addition. I told them I was concerned about trying to tie into the existing roof with the new roof. That was my main concern. Lee, the owner, told me that it wouldn’t be any problem. That will be really easy… Definitely incorrect! From the beginning, the lack of communication was astounding! Up until they started, it was okay, but once started, you just never knew if you would get an answer, or a return call, or if the workers even knew what was going on. They actually complained about it as well! My wife stressed from the beginning that she wanted very large windows, the windows they started to install just weren’t going to cut it, so we had them order new one’s. We had to eat the cost of the first one’s because they were special order… Not happy about that, but okay. So the new one’s come, are installed, but installed so high you can’t see out of them when sitting. Had to have them move them to the correct spot. Then comes the rain… Leaks everywhere!! I had warned them, but they were the professionals, so I assumed they knew more than I did. I guess not! They “patch” or “seal” the spots where the leaks were occurring, but the leaks still kept on. They hired a different roofer to come fix the issue. He had to come three different times because it kept leaking. Of course the leaks caused issues inside as well. They came and “fixed” the ceiling where the leaking had caused issues. They sure didn’t fix it right. So they had to send someone else to fix their fix… The steps from inside the house out to the addition were a total of 3 steps. The problem with that, the steps were not uniform. One was short, the next was long, then the third was short again!! You almost fell every time you used the steps. I had to ask for a railing also. They did eventually fix this as well. I have numerous things I could post, but enough time has been wasted with this company. I would HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere! The lack of communication alone is reason enough to go somewhere else, but the lack of quality workmanship is also very evident. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else. **EDIT** Still leaking as of 3/27/2018… **EDIT** I had an inspector come and evaluate the roof that Signature had done. He pointed out numerous problems, one of the biggest, the new roof was higher than the old roof!! This causes a valley and water ponding, which in turn will cause leaking. The inspector wrote a comprehensive report for me, I had my attorney forward this to Lee at Signature, he waited approximately 3 weeks to respond, then requested to meet the inspector to see where the issues were. We met today and the inspector did his job pointing out the issues that were glaring. After hearing all the issues, and trying to argue his point, Lee then proceeded to threaten to throw the inspector off the roof!!! THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL!!! This will also be documented in the court notes as well. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!
