I called Winkley this week to inquire about having a double deck built on my large home. I had a rude person answer, and was considering not doing business with Winkley. However, the owners called me when they found I had been poorly treated, and explained to me that it was a hired service they were using to answer calls, and not someone who works from their company. They promised to contact the answering service so this does not happen again. Now I am again considering using Winkley because they have been kind about responding to the problem.

I can personally vouch for the owners of Winkley Homebuilders. Both Jennifer and Franc are people of both honor and faith, dealing honestly with those who they interact/do business with. I have had the privilege to know them over the course of several years and they are genuinely great people. 10/10 would recommend.

Jennifer and Frank are exceptional, honest, and intelligent people. They are some of the most generous people I know, and they make sure the job is done correctly and well. Also their son is a chip off the block, and their dog is beautiful.

The actual construction team was absolutely great. The lady named Jennifer was the rudest, least knowledgeable person I’ve ever had the displeasure to conduct business with. She repeatedly asked for more money even after paying 50% up front, called my wife a liar. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. I would absolutely hire Tom and Ashton again, but if the Winkley Company closed today, it would be great for the industry

Unfortunately the framing crew Winkley subcontracted did not frame up to the roof line leaving a substantial gap. We were told the gap would be filled in with spray foam insulation. I wasn’t sure but trusted their word. Their spray insulation contractor came out to measure but failed to give us a bid. We had to find our own. When he came to do the job he said there was no way to fill up the gap. Tom Stevens from Winkley came out to evaluate and admitted even though the gap would have been filled in with insulation the exterior siding would have nothing for support and nail to. Of course they would come back and do it for more money. Our contract states the hired framers were to do an exterior wall which should have been done correctly to begin with. It should not have been signed off on by them. We should never been told the spray insulation would have fixed the gap. We are disappointed to saw the least.
