We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Belvedere Builders. They are prompt. diligent and effective. Our project was expanded with having our home roofed, stuccoed and painted to match the garage they built for us, and all was completed impeccably and in a timely manner. I hired Belvedere Builders to redo my kitchen which included taking down a structural wall to open the area. After 2 months and countless emails, I was still without an estimate for this work. I was told by Colleen that Bob couldn’t figure out how he was going to get the beam into the house. That he would need 20 guys to lift it. I was then told it would cost $35,000 to remove the wall. Really? If you weren’t capable of doing the job, you shouldn’t have taken my deposit. To make me wait so long, and then throw out such a ridiculous price is just bad business. I suggest you look elsewhere for your construction needs. Response: Your inability to do this project had nothing to do with FEMA. I was well aware of the FEMA laws, and was prepared to complete this project in several phases. The 1st phase being removal of the wall and reno the kitchen. The fact that you could not figure out how to place a beam in the house is the issue. So, instead of discussing this, you let it drag on for almost two months. Did you really think you could take my deposit and never do the work? I finally told Colleen that it was obvious this project was way beyond you, and I wanted my money back, because waiting almost 2 months for an estimate after you took my deposit is ridiculous. Yes, I was away from Sept to Dec: HOWEVER; that is not the time frame I am referring to and you know it. I met with Colleen and the engineer on JAN 3rd. As we approached MARCH with NO estimate, I kept sending emails to Colleen. After a meeting with Bob, she finally gave me a price of $35,000 to just remove the wall. Insane. Your partial refund is not acceptable. Had the reasons you gave for this debacle been true, I would’ve ok with it. But they are not. I have the emails and text if you need to refresh your memory.

We absolutely love our recent renovation by Belvedere Builders! We first used them a few years ago to upgrade our 3 bathrooms. They turned our “builder grade” baths into what a guest called “Ritz Carlton” quality. When we decided to upgrade our kitchen and flooring throughout the entire house, the only company we considered was Belvedere! Bob, Mike and Colleen helped us completely change the look of our home with an open concept kitchen by removing walls and soffits, and creating an awesome island with new countertops, cabinets, sink, faucet, lighting and appliances. It was a major renovation, almost like “moving” without relocating! Belvedere’s sub contractors and suppliers were skilled professionals; very friendly and trustworthy. A major point of this reno: Belvedere allowed us input on every phase of the overall design, executing our ideas flawlessly. We highly recommend Belvedere Builders.

Belvedere Builders did an absolutely excellent job helping us to add an addition onto our home and remodel our bathrooms and kitchen. Specifically, Michael Kildow took the time to listen to what my wife and I wanted and then he executed beautifully. I would highly recommend Belvedere Builders for any remodeling or new home construction that you have.

We had a patio extension put on the back of our home and we wanted it to look as if it had always been there. Mike and Bob did an amazing job of tying the addition into the existing patio. They matched the stucco pattern to a tee and were able to get a perfect match on the paint color. All of their trades were friendly and kept the site clean the entire time the project was going on. They kept us informed as to what was going to be done each week and finished ahead of schedule. We were having a pool put in at the same time and Mike coordinated everything with the pool company and they kept each other informed as to what each was going to do so that each would have their work done and not hold the other one up. I will use Mike and Bob from Belvedere Builders on my next project and the one after that.
