I worked with Plan B to complete several projects: Refinishing my garage into studio space, installing skylights in my living room, building an extension/office space on the front of the house, and installing heat pump units. I enjoyed working with them and thought they provided high quality work at a reasonable price. When issues came up (for example, we discovered some issues with the roof when installing the skylights) they were communicative and gave me different options for dealing with it. Most of all, I felt like the quality of the construction was good, which is a priority for me. I can be picky about paint finishes, etc. and I was really pleased with their commitment to finishing details, even if that meant sometimes sending teams back to repaint areas that I thought needed touching up. Also, the workers on the team are great people and pleasant to be around. I see that someone else commented that they performed work that they didn’t ask for. I’m sorry you have this experience. I can only say that I did not have this experience at all. Edgar always talked to me about whatever was going on with my job and clearly communicated if something was going to cost more (or sometimes less!) than we originally agreed upon.

We were selling our house and had a list of items we would fix that we agreed upon with our buyer. The buyer asked for a vapor barrier, mold to be removed, and water entry points sealed in the crawl space. We hired Plan B to do the work. The 1 star is because they got the work done in a very short window of time. Other than that they absolutely took advantage of us as they knew we were selling our house and did work that was not needed and didn’t complete the tasks on the list. We gave Diego and Edgar the inspection report, the list of agreed upon jobs from the buyer and told them in person, via email, and via text what we wanted. They had multiple copies of the inspection report and the list of needed jobs, but they ignored it. They DID NOT seal the water entry points and charged us $6,280 for a French drain system that WAS NEVER ASKED FOR! The job should have maybe been $2,000, but we ended up paying close to $9,000 for a poor vapor barrier, sump pump (THAT WAS NOT NEEDED AND NEVER ASKED FOR), and the French drain that, again WAS NEVER ASKED FOR! They had all the information provided and did their own work and we got charged for it. I DO NOT recommend these guys.
