We purchased our 1936 Cape Cod style home shortly after we got married. We loved our neighborhood and our neighbors, but as we grew our family, it became clear we needed more space. We really didn’t want to leave our neighborhood and decided we would move only if we couldn’t find a company that would give us the additional space we needed while also keeping the charm and quirkiness that made us by our home in the first place. We met with Tri-Vista after hearing rave reviews from friends who had used them for their own home upgrade. Five minutes into our initial meeting we knew we had found our team. TriVista is a design/build firm which was appealing to us from the beginning. What sets TriVista apart is the continuous synergy and collaboration throughout the entire design and build process. TriVista combined our vision with the creativity and expertise of their team to create a design perfectly tailored to our family. We are convinced it was serendipitous that Kieran was the architect assigned to our project. He is magical and created a plan that gave us everything we needed. Carlos and Bethany, our design team, nailed our aesthetic and helped us create a visually stunning space, both inside and out. As many in Arlington do, we experienced some difficulty in obtaining our permits (we don’t blame TriVista at all). Steve Inch, and the rest of his team, had creative solutions to minimize the impact of these delays on our overall timeline. Boyd and Effie, the most extraordinary project management team, kept us well informed and beautifully managed our myriad requests and were honest about the cost (both in terms of time and money) of the various whims we had during the project. We will truly miss our weekly meetings with them! Everyone has heard the nightmare stories of home renovation projects, but that was not the case with TriVista! They gave us the custom home of our dreams. Importantly, they anticipated and planned for any issue that often occurs when renovating an old home. We couldn’t be happier with the process or the results. We would strongly encourage anyone considering home renovations (or anyone who is currently considering moving) to give the TriVista team the opportunity to make your dream home a reality.

We can’t say enough good things about TriVista! Not only do we absolutely love our Reno but the team was beyond wonderful! Great communication, stayed on schedule, planned so well there were minimal surprises, everything went great! Our house is perfect now because of them!!!

TriVista was fantastic to work with as we demolished our 3rd floor (former attic, first bumped out in 1946) of our 1920 home and remodeled the space to match our current lifestyle. TriVista served as our architect and builder and construction manager and everything else in between, and just was perfect. Our architect really listened to what we said and meant, in developing plans – and we were provided three options, to take specific space use needs and flexibility requirements from conversation to plans. Our designer likewise was very responsive, and provided us design element choices (vanity that looks more like furniture, fixtures, tiles, knobs) that were right in tune with the big picture we were going with. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were unparalleled for every workman (and woman), and trades specialist and contractor, from heating, air conditioning, floors, painting. We had a lot of carpentry work to match the trim and details on the 1st and 2nd floor, and all done extremely well. But the difference maker, the real reason we are ending our remodeling feeling completely satisfied, is the amazing SERVICE we were provided from day one (special attention to how we live in our house in order to best make the architecture plans) throughout the weekly construction checkins (special attention to each and every question we had) and to managing every aspect of the construction by our truly unbelievable project manager (special kudos are due to Boyd Baggarly, because we doubt there could be a better project manager any where). And, everything was finished on time, which means early! (We were told it would take 12 weeks to complete all phases of the construction, and that therefore it was a 12-16 week construction timeline, and the project was done at the 12-week mark, such that the street sign permits for the dumpster (and the dumpster) were removed three weeks early.) We are so excited about our new space, that includes an art studio in a flex space for my husband, a bunk room for our grandkids, two window seats, great closet space, among other features. Great experience!

Our bathroom remodel is done! We started with the bathroom circa 1970s that we had when moved in and now have a beautiful open, peaceful space with great lighting and storage. Thank you TriVista for your continued excellent service. This is our third project with them. I think we are done with home design and remodeling but if anything comes up, we will work with this talented company again in a heartbeat. Great thanks to Steve and Bethany to help us get going; Alex’s wonderful design and Kelly’s great project management! There were many others who executed the construction, the trade teams and more behind the scenes – also excellent. If you are looking for a team with great design talent, great organizational, communication skills – please work with TriVista. They truly embody the best design build firm in Arlington.

TriVista team was great! They did a great job from design to build. There’s always communication, update on status, and question/response in a very timely manner. Carlos provided a great design. The subcontractors for each aspect of the work were great as well. Al, the electrician, my favorite 🙂 We were on time and on budget, how often can you say that for a renovation!

TriVistaUSA just finished adding a first-floor bedroom/office and full bathroom to my small Arlington duplex. I am very pleased with the work Boyd and Kelly oversaw; they made sure things were finished as envisioned, even redoing bathroom tiles to get the job right. I’m grateful that I learned about TriVista and would recommend this company to others.
