Honestly the best crew I’ve ever worked with. From Adam assisting with design/quoting, Peter with materials/design, and yet the best project manager Victor! They answered and addressed all questions and concerns quickly. Biggest thanks to Victor who ensured all projected timeline was met, explained all processes including inspections, and kept all promises beyond expectation! Our basement became the favorite part of our house!!

Matrix did an excellent job. They worked quickly once the permitting was approved and worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the design and the work being done. I had a very good idea of how to turn my Chicago basement into a dream space but Matrix made it even better than I could have imagined. I got several bids and they were the best at communicating, details in their contract and pricing. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have a basement designed by professionals and want the best basement possible.

We are very pleased with the quality of work that Matrix did in our basement. Our Field Manager, Ben, was great to work with, very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Rudy and Armando did fantastic work throughout the entire project and were great at communicating and collaborating with us.

Matrix did a great job on our basement. We loved our contractor Victor. He made sure we would pass the city inspections. Matrix was very professional and did a good quality job. I would highly recommend.

From the sales meeting to the final inspection day, everything went smooth. The matrix team was great to work with and all of the subcontractors they used were professional, kind and responsive. Great experience and our basement looks amazing. Special shout out to Steve, Pete, Jacob, Jackie and Ben on the matrix team!

Matrix basement solutions did fantastic job finishing my basement… they were extremely professional, quick, and neat. Project manager victor was organizing everything perfectly in timely manner… he is amazing and go extra step to help you achieve your dream basement!!! Highly recommend victor and matrix basement solution to everyone looking to finish their basement!!

Overall, the experience with Matrix was great. Special shout out to Oscar and his partner as they did fantastic carpentry work, Bobby and his partner were great with electrical & Jorge and his team were phenomenal with all the drywall. A few hiccups along the way as a potential code issue wasn’t identified nearly as early as it should have been, however, Jackie and Ben were able to put our mind at ease if anything arose from inspections. Ben and Jackie were great with communication throughout the process, never going more than 24 hours without a response. A carpet installation up charge was disappointing as it wasn’t known about ahead of time and didn’t appreciate the carpet installation owner insulting me after having just met me 10 minutes prior, but I can’t fault Matrix for that. It’s worth noting though that the carpet installation crew themselves were great – would certainly recommend Matrix to others but with any company improvements in certain areas are needed.

We just signed a contract with Matrix. The experience was good and professional. The designer came to our home on time and we have spent 2 hours together to discuss our requirement. They explain everything very professionally and easy for us to understand. Brad and Mike were the guys who came for the inspection. Really appreciate their help and patient to explain everything.
