PECO hired them to clean up power lines. They were trespassing in my back yard before even knocking on the door and alerting me to what they were doing. They were asked to leave and they did, only for five more employees to come right back and stomp around my front lawn. When those five got kicked off, two more manifested AGAIN. I couldn’t get these guys off my property it was actually scary. No introduction or information was given until the second round of trespassing when someone finally said they’re “from PECO”. This was the most unprofessional and unpleasant encounter I’ve ever had with anyone. Not one, not two, but a whole crew of grown men that I had to chase down because they didn’t have the decency to respect my property. Absolutely mind boggling.

Duke power sent them put to trim branches they just started cutting at random and made a big mess and said they aren’t responsible for cleaning up after themselves I am currently trying everything in my power to get them to clean up after myself I hope to get this resolved soon they left a big mess on my neighbors fence

Update: May 31. 2024: Contacting them for over 1 year to return to cut the wood circles left into “manageable pieces.” They do not return my call even when they say they would. Wait until after winter. Wait there a changing in mgmt. I need the pieces cut as contracted. Calls made to Corporate, Regional, and Local offices. They were paid by BGE. I couldn’t even give it away on Nextdoor! ——– BGE contacted them to take down a dangerous tree. It was a monster. But it came down slice by slice. It took all day. BGE didn’t contract for debris removal … that’s on me. They took their time, so the tree was no longer in dangering my home.i was afraid each time it rained, it landed a little more. They took it down to the trunk of the tree. They estimated the cost of the removal of the remaining trunk about $200.

As if the world wasn’t already environmentally screwed, these people go around the beautiful state of Pennsylvania as well as neighboring states and unnecessarily cut down hundreds of years old trees. The Asplundh family should be ashamed.
